Another question for those of you that have purchased these sets already...

Do the R3PO and K3PX figures come apart as build-a-droid figures, or are the joints fixed? If they do break down, do the parts swap with C3PX parts?

I have a suspicion they don't come apart since it hasn't been mentioned, but this would go a long way towards getting me to buy these buggers.

I don't think they come apart.  I pulled the limbs on mine and it didn't come out easily, so I'm guessing its not supposed to.

I know the arms and head come off the R-3PO. I have the other sets but have yet crack them open to see their abiliites.

I'm gonna say mine won't come apart without effort, so no they don't come apart...  Sorry.  R-3PO pops apart just like Endor 3PO did of course, like Jayson pointed out, which is pretty nice, if not pointless.  You can have damaged R-3PO I guess.

Be neat if these were "clearance" finds like the O66 sets were...  I'd like a couple of the droids but at full price I gotta cut back.  Good deal regardless but $8 basic figures is gonna hurt.

If you want my blue Han, just let me know DB.

Thanks for the offer!  Sorry I missed this the first time  :-\.  I actually bought the set today!  Han just had a great paintjob on the one I saw...

It's funny I still have not seen these in the wild yet. I wonder if the WM's out here are waiting until 7/26........
Glad I bought these online. I cannot stress that enough. I think 7/26 is going to be a mixed bag of issues.

Yeah, I saw that at a Walmart over the weekend in Scotia, New York (that's upstate, since you aren't from the "colonies").

My one WM has a ton of them in the clearance area.  Only WM with them however.  And it was the only WM I ever saw them at out of 5 or 6 WM's I visited at the time.  That goes to show the truly ****** up nature of WM Exclusives...  One out of six stores in a fairly wide area has them.  That's lame.

Out of the 6-7 Wal-Marts in my area, only one hasn't put many of these out.  The others all have nice displays with more than enough to go around.

Haven't hit clearance yet either... and they're almost gone.

I found a bunch of these on clearance for $3.50 the other day.  So I picked up one of each and promptly returned them on my original receipt.  I'm much happier having paid $4 each for them than $10 each.

Lame, these were still full price at my local WM as of last week. I wouldn't mind grabbing the rest of them for under $5 each.

Yeah, these were still on the same endcap the last time I was at our local store - and the price had actually gone up to over $11.  I think they were $9.96 when I picked up my set back in July.

Yeah, they are $9.96 at 3 of the WM locally.  I only got three of the sets, but if I saw them at clearance prices I'd pick up the others.

wow you guys still have them out!  I only saw them once and never again after that.  I did get the Vader, for the droid, that I'd wanted but missed out on that R2.
