It's been a long time but Wow! Your making great progress. This is great to see such a project being built. You should take a picture with the original falcon and the BMF and this one together for a picture. Maybe include the vintage micro diacast one in the picture. Small/Medium/Large/X-Large.

Finally back at this project after too long a hiatus. I realized that before I attached all of the lower structures, I'd better do the detail work on the boarding ramp while it was still easily accessible. The pics aren't the greatest, but I hope to have better ones up in a few weeks when this section is completed.

Very nice.  Will the boarding ramp be functional?

Ramp is pretty much done now, except for a few more details. What I ended up doing was to make a "cradle" for this section to rest in while I got all of the angles, etc. worked out, as well as a temporary guide on the upper portion to make sure the pistons stayed plumb while the ramp was being raised or lowered. Everything is just dry-fit for now, with brad nails serving as hinge pins for the bottom of the ramp pistons.

As always, comments/critiques welcome!

For what it's worth, I like the ingenuity in the functional ramp design.  The magnet holding it in place and things.  I felt that was quite clever. :)  Hopefully your bandwidth is back at capacity rogue, and thanks for sharing with how you did that.

I like the temp scaffolding too by the way, haha.

Gotta say I did not have much faith at first but it looks like you are doing an awsome job. Think you could have it ready for C6 for display?

Nice update Rogue...  Tell me you got the Millenium Falcon: An Owner's Guide!

I got it as a Christmas gift, and it's one of my favorite sourcebooks...  I saw it at NYTF last year and pics of it weren't allowed at the time for some reason, but it was insanely cool and I couldn't wait to get a copy.  It's great, and a must-have for your project.

For that picture where it looks like Han is reading a blueprint, you should put a couple little sawhorses in the backgrouond and add a hammer to his belt. :)

Seriously - this is an awesome project.  It really looks like a labor of love.
