I was hoping we get this wave in December, but since we haven't seen wave 4 yet, my hopes are dashed.

Brainiac now Pons Limbic?

I guess so...  here's the quote from the latest Cantina Alien Update at the Official Site:

"He was never given a specific name until 1995, when he was dubbed Braniac, which according to lore is apparently just a nickname. His true name did not get assigned until 2008: Pons Limbic."

So yeah, he totally got "EU"ed.  I have to give that name retcon a big "LAME!"   :P

I wonder if LFL came up with the name or if Hasbro designers came up with it and LFL made it canon?

I would guess that they couldn't use Braniac becuase DC Comics has the rights to the name.

That's funny!  Pons and Limbic both refer to regions in the brain  8)

Here too.  I don't mind the new names for everyone necessarily, but I'm fine with having Hammerhead, Walrusman, and Yakface in my display too :).

Its shows carded shots of Obi-Wan and Braniac with the tables in the package. Could it be Hasbro decided to include the tables and not remove them as previously mentioned? The pics look like production quality. We shall see......

shouln't the repacks come with different color parts?  2 different domes but the rest of the parts look like they belong to the R5.

Looks legit to me. Maybe they "heard the cries" of collectors through the QnAs and decided to throw us a bone.

Definitely nice to see the tables apparently included again, that's a nice bonus.  This whole wave looks great to me, and I can't wait for them to hit.  Hopefully it won't be too long.  It just seems like its been such an OT-light year this year (with this really only being the 2nd wave of OT figures).  Now the question is if these still hit in 2008, or if it will be 2009.  I think this is "technically" considered 2009 Wave 1, correct?  Anyways, very nice looking wave.
