Elephant paints self-portrait

I hate making myself look stupid, but it's sure as hell better than anything I could paint. Not quite as wierd as the robotic dog video I saw a few weeks back, but kind of wierd.

When I was in Chicago on a business trip, I picked up this book for my wife at the museum.



It's a fantastic book written as a serious art book. There is a sequal called "Why paint cats" which is even funnier.

Yes, MP! I too have read the "Why Cats Paint" book. Great stuff!

My only problem is, did the elephant intend for this painting to be a self-portrait? Is that just the audience's reaction? Do the intentions of the artist invalidate said reaction?  :P
