Surprised Grievous was droppped....but I don't really mind since I got him from the TLC!  ;D Wow, is this the first time Hasbro makes a hole in the numbering system??

Does anyone know what case assortment figure # BD24: General Grievous is in?

It is a mystery at the moment... hopefully we will get an answer tomorrow during the Hasbro Q&A as I know at least 1 site asked about it.

Cool, thanks for the info Jeff!  I was hoping that someone would ask Hasbro about it in the Q&A.

No BD24 Grievous is coming.  From the Q&A at Han's Hideout:

He was indeed dropped, leaving a hole in our figuring number system. This was in response to needing to shift a bunch of assortments around - we just couldn't fit him in. As such, there will be no BD24 issued.

Thanks again Jeff.  I did read this on Yakface.com.  It kind of stinks that they dropped it, but at least it is one less repack to buy. ;D :)

Sounds like these hit pretty hard the last couple days. I wonder if that will be the last good chance to find them before wave 10 hits.

Nooooooooo way man.

These have not begun to hit en masse yet, try December.

It's not the first time, no. There was wave back in SAGA of '04 where the numbering system got all screwed up and at one point there were two figures that had the same number.

Sort of. The inserts with Saga Darth Maul 03/25 and Han Solo 03/27 were misprinted whereas Maul's read: "03/23" and Han's read "03/25". The card backs were printed correctly so there wasn't an technical "break" in the numbering.

Interestingly, this insert numbering error happened again in the ROTS line but was corrected first with stickers on the insert and then with printed inserts.

The Wookiee Heavy Gunner and R4-P117 were both designated as figures #64 and #68, but again there was no real break in the numbering system.

Ok. I missed where 3 months after any wave lately hit origianlly that it then was out in masse. We clearly don't live in the same area.

I like Luke - the range of motion he has in his torso joint is the best they've ever done there - but the arms are too bulky compared to the legs.  He's certainly appreciated, and I don't know they'll ever do better, so he's off to fight his dad on my shelves.

I haven't heard of anywhere where waves hit in bulk the same month they're released and then are never heard from again - possibly with the exception of the Sio Bibble wave in 1999 and barely the AOTC Wave 7 this year, although I am still seing it in stores.

Around here anyhow, figures trickle in the month they're officially "released" and then within 1-2 months hit en masse, like clockwork.  We'll have Phantom Menace Wave 8 and Return of the Jedi Wave 9 hit in bulk at the end of November and December here in NY.  Even Entertainment Earth has revisions of these two waves first coming in for November.

I saw this wave at Target this week as well, although I already had it via online sources.  I was able to grab the second Ugnaught though, so I was happy to find that figure.  It looks like Luke, Leia, and the ewoks were the first to sell here as well - as the rest of the wave was still on the pegs today.

I've managed to find most of this wave, still missing Leia and the Ewoks. I think my favorite so far has to be Panno. What a great figure with lots of customizing and army building potential. These legs look like they will work great on a human Endor Rebel Commado at somepoint (I believe we asked this in the Q & A not long ago, and Hasbro confirmed that this may be the plan.) The sculpts are fantastic all around.

I like Luke better in person. The more I look at him, I really have no problem with his upper body. His scrawny little waist/lower torso seems to be what is throwing off his proportions. I can deal with this version for now, but I think it is going to need an update before too long, and that sucks.

I also have to applaud Hasbro for one little thing about this wave that really is a huge improvement. All of the staffs/pikes/gaffis that I have are nice and stiff. Not one of them looks like they need some plastic viagra. This is what we should have been getting with our figures all along.

The only figure I've seen for the VERY FIRST TIME (!!) from this wave is Malakilli. Would have bought it along with the new TPM Obi, but I only had enough for one fig - decided on Kenobi. Wanted both. :( But this was the first time I'VE ever seen the ROTJ wave (or at least some of it) at retail ... Good sign that Hasbro's stepping it up as far as distribution.

Found Giran, Nikto Gunner, Major Panno, and the new Ugnaught at Target yesterday. All very well done figures. I'm just blown away by the two skiff guards though....detailed sculpts, super articulation, nice accessories, these two are action figure perfection. 8)

Those two are Hall of Fame to me.  They're two of the best of the year, and two of the best of the modern line.  I'm really excited next year for Wooof, and especially now the Gamorrean Guard, who I wasn't before.  I think he will be very good.

This whole wave is shockingly good - there's not a figure in here that I'm disappointed in.  I know Hasbro said they would do more for collectors next year, but if they just keep up this level of quality with their new releases, I'll be ecstatic.
