I hit TJ Maxx and low and behold they had the goodies...  I got another Canvas top truck there and a couple Elsa's for customizing fodder.

Yay.

I hit TJ Maxx, but they were both cleared out.  :(

The TJ Maxx here in Anaheim is horrible. No evidence of Indy ever being there. And all I am looking for is an Elsa Schneider.

TJ Maxx everywhere is horrible...  Believe me that's not a regional thing. :)

Their toy aisle is a mess too.  When you look, make sure you scan it closely.  The Indy vehicles I found were burried under other stuff, and the figures were all turned sideways and behind a Spiderman toy.  I had to search the lame stack of shelves to find anything.

Went to TJ Maxx today in search of the Wal-Mart Droid Factory packs and scored a Troop Car for $10.

DF 2-packs at TJMaxx?  I'd not heard this happening.

Yep. Someone in the SF Bay Area section at anotheR Site's forums reported spotting them and I went to check it out, and surprisingly enough there they were. $6.99 each.

Bought Elsa @ Big Lots in Cerritos, also found but passed on Canvas trucks, and Mutt w/cycle @ Cypress Big Lots.
Also saw 3 or 4 of the playset at Ross in Costa Mesa.

Either of you guys recall what the playset was selling for at either Big Lots or Ross?  I may have to stop by my BL tomorrow night after work.

I've not seen (I didn't think anyone mentioned it either) Playsets at Big Lots.  Just vehicles, deluxe, and basic figures.  The playset is at Ross for $13-ish though E...  I got one.  At that price, eh, it was ok.

Our own Darth Rock just hooked me up with some ToD figs he found at Pamida. They're expensive at $10, but hey, it's an option. I got Mola Ram, Short Round, Willie, and Indy, since I didn't want the Temple Guard dudes.

Man. These figures are great. Shame on Hasbro for these being so hard to find.

Pamida is primarily found in the upper midwest as far as I know.  I worked at a store during college, at which time I think they were bought out by Shopko (but still maintained the same name).  They are basically a smaller scale department store, and they usually have higher prices on everything (again, like Shopko).  But, like this example here, they sometimes tend to have some harder to find items.  I remember finding all of the commtech POTF2 figures there at a time when they were near impossible to find at retail elsewhere (which changed later).  I know a friend of mine and I picked up several commtech R2-D2s back before they had shown up and were blown out at TRU for $2 each.

I hit up TJ Maxx yesterday checking for Indy/SW stuff after reading the reports here, but there wasn't much to be found.  I think this was the first time I was ever in a TJ Maxx store, and man was their toy section a war zone.  I did see a jungle cutter and a couple deluxe Indy figures, but that was about it.  They also had two of the Kit Fisto droid factory sets.  I didn't end up picking anything up there, but the prices weren't bad.
