I had been hoping for a larger Palpatine head.  But then if Gentle Giant ever decides to do a holographic Darth Sidious mini-bust, it might make for a perfect stand-in for Palpy.

That's what I'm waiting for.

I'll still get this set though. I like that it plays the whole scene. In the event GG does make a bust, if the toy version isn't needed to activate the voice recodrings, then I'll use the GG bust in it's place.
I'm just a humble collector trying to make his way through the universe...of toy aisles.

Pretty interesting idea using a theoretical GG bust. I never bought one for myself before. If they did that, I just might consider it if if looks cool in this set.

Why Hasbro never updates the votc Vader into a removable helmet vader anakin?
I hope do this, but they must take care of his eyebrows.

They could just reuse the Evolutions Vader. Better sculpt (ball-socket elbows) and sans eyebrows.

Anyone else having a heck of a time getting an order through?  Each step takes forever for me, and then when I get to the final "place order now" page, it sits there for a long time before finally getting a "your order could not be processed at this time, please try again later".

EDIT: Nevermind, finally got it to go. :)

It took about 30 seconds, but mine went through no problem.

I had a hell of a time trying to get my order in - as I had Joe and TF stuff as well.  Got kicked out/timed out/hung up on/spit at.  You name it.  HTS.com then successfully triplicated my final order that got sent through successfully.   :-\

This thing is probably one of my most favorite items of the last few years...I love it, even though the big floating head could have bigger

I just received this today, and I like it a lot as well.  Like Scott mentioned, the "giant floating head" could be even larger - but its pretty cool for what it is.  I like the lights/sounds part of it, and it makes a nice display overall.

30 seconds?  That's about how long I had fun with this before it going into a box some place.

Itīs a great toy, the flloor is well depicted, with the base that follows the meditation chamber on Executor SSD. Only one question, Why Hasbro never produces a Vader from meditation Chamber or already out of meditation chamber with removable helmet?

I think Hasbro should update 2 molds for a Vader with removable Helmet, the Votc and the 500th Vader, both from classic trilogy, but if they do such update they must be aware of the colors of chestplate and shoulders plates. Itīs time to update Hasbro, made them worth the bucks!!

We have one (and it is repacked quite often,) that's what the 500th Vader was...
