The set is "rare" in general around me.  I've only seen it once...

Weird that this one was one per case, however, I think given that the set is a disappointment, I think it'll be shelf warming soon enough.

The set is not as horrible as I thought. The figures suck Rancor balls but the Speeder bikes are really nice. They are perfect for the new Obi-Wan in clone armor if you have the republic screw up versions. While the are not identical to the episode they look good with those figures on them.

Anyone have any pictures of this set? I would like to see some detail of the figures. Don't really care about the bikes as they are the old POTF2 tooling AGAIN ::). At least Hasbro could refix with the new handle bars, then I might be able to stand it then.

Maybe a review on this set to if anyone has anything.

I still haven't seen a pic of an imperial logo- I had thought that was what I had, but I guess not. Have their been side by side pics of the two logos.

Hmm, 'scum doesn't have pic yet.

Gotta say, I think the figs are pretty disappointing. The Snowtrooper arms just don't fit into the biker scout torso with any sense of symmetry, making it look awkward - like the arms are too big for the body.

Thanks for that. I saw the hi-rez pictures of them on Yakface today. I totally agree with the arms not working for the figure. I will not be getting this set as there is nothing worth it in there. I might have, if Hasbro would have retooled Scout torso and added the Snowtrooper backpack to the bike and a hose to contect to the Scout.

It is okay for something that was not on screen.  It's just something more to add to a Hoth diorama if you wanted to.  I will be skipping it to put the funds towards something else though.

While not film/cut scene/whatever you wanna call it accurate how would he look like with a snowtrooper helmet?  Just curious if it looks so odd just cause his head looks so small.

Hmmm.  Thanx Jayson looks a lot better then the scout helmet, still not perfect but better.  Hows about a skirt/kama?  Might have to get him after all.

They're actually 100% expanded universe jedipurge.  They were only ever in the Incredible Cross Sections books.  I don't even know they've been outside of that.  :-\

I have an extra VTSC Snowtrooper and Scout lying around. I keep meaning to attempt my own kit bash to see if I can do better.
