$20 vehicles now $30??? What happened to Hasbro's "business model"?

I realize retailers can se their own price, but if WM sets it at $30, either they will price themselves out of competition, OR every other retailor will follow suit and we the consumer will be screwed... :(

If it is $30, then that's going to add $40-60 to my ever growing total.

That price tag may have been meant for the Clone Helmet so lets not panic just yet.....

FYI - I saw the new legacy packaging role play sabers and blasters at Wal-Mart, I scanned them and they were able to be purchased.

I doubt the price of the ships went up. In fact, I think people who purchased the ships already got 'em for $20.

I was able to pick up a full set of wave 2 yesterday from Target.

That photo makes me want to run the vehicle DCPI at Target and see what the price point is for the assault vehicles.

At my local Target, the DPCI still shows $20 for the ship assortment...

It's still a rumor at this point. And I'm just asking. :P

If this is the wave he's talking about, then I'll know to budget for some of them too. Or I can just wait until tomorrow for Hasbro to confirm/not confirm this in their release day checklist.

Yes the snow bunny wave. In fact, I picked up another set of just the army-builders of that wave; one each of the IG Droid, Quarren, Mon Calamari, Scuba Clone and 2 of the Gunner clone.

SCORE!!!!!

Target was setting up when I went in and I picked up:

AT_TE (Box is not as big as I thought it was going to be)
V-Torrent Starfighter
Homing Spider Droid
The Fett Evo correction
Ten Numb Evo set x2
Animated Clone Trooper 1st Day issue
Saga2 Death Star Gunner in a very crusty package for $3.32! - The Best part of the trip!
$235.13 Total

No sign of the Falcon, the other 3 Evo sets, or Legacy basic figures of W1 & W2. They did have the new Legends asst with lockers nothing worth getting. I actually helped the Target guy open the cases, it was pretty funny. I hit a lot of stores today and this was my last stop. They will have more out later, I may go back. A nice jump start to midnight madness.

Let us know if you have any problems with the AT-TE in regards to the legs coming loose if you get a chance.

Is that a common problem? I will not open it until the weekend but I will keep you posted.

FYI - I had zero trouble checking out.

It was a problem for Chewie.

I did get one though, and have to say that this is probably the best work I've seen Hasbro do so far, as far as an item for a diorama.  Regarding play value though?  Not as good as I thought it would be because the darn legs keep popping out of their sockets each time I move it.  As a kid, I'd probably be very frustrated with that.

Hopefully his was a dud.  No offense to you Chew   ;)

Yeah, hopefully it was just Chewie.

I had planned on picking one of these up for a five year old but if it's really as bad as Chewie says, then I'll pass.
