Found a couple of more Hoth Soldiers, but they were both non-skirted.  :(

Finally spotted the Hoth wave and snagged the only two Hoth troopers I saw. I'll pick up the rest later.

Finally found the Yavin battle pack today....one among about a half dozen Jabba BP's.

Recent;y I also purchased a wave 5 Jawa, Spacetrooper, Luke and Han Stormtrooper and built my first B-A-D....the R5.  He looks at home in my hangar scene.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

Scored a complete set of the ESB Wave 6 figures. Unfortunately the Hoth Rebel Trooper was "skirted".

Is that bad?  I've only been seeing the "unskirted" version, haven't seen one with a skirt yet...

Well - so far I've gotten four Hoth Rebel Troopers and all of them have been "skirted". I would have liked to find at least ONE un-skirted version to put in my MOC collection...

You found the skirted version in a store? What chain?

Walmarts across the country have been getting in the cases with the 'skirted' Hoth Trooper and the 'champange' colored U-3PO droid pieces.

Target still seems to be stuck on cases with 'skirt-less' Hoth Rebels and 'silver' color U-3PO pieces.

"Champange" vs. "Silver" U-3PO pieces?!?!

I got a case of Wave 6 from an online retailer and I would consider the U-3PO from that case definitely silver.

Now I have to go check these new parts vs. the figure I already have....

*sigh* I'm really starting to hate this ****....

more info at the link.  I've heard it's easier to tell the difference in color in person.

Silver for me - I'm not buying this wave twice.

*sigh* I'm really starting to hate this ****....

I did too about a year ago when I had it with collecting EVERYTHING Hasbro.  Feels better not to be a completist...trust me.   ;)

If you're an opener I can see wanting the champagne, but as a non-opener I am fine having the package tell me it is U3PO. Buying a whole new set to have two or hassle with the exchange just isn't worth it to me. You're welcome for my two cents  ;)

Well as it turns out it looks like by sheer luck, I now have both a "silver" and a "champange" U-3PO so I'm good.

Here's the weird thing - the "silver" one came out of the set of figures I picked up at WalMart this week. My "champange" one came from the case of figures I bought online, and had for almost a month.

So which version came first? The info on that otheR Site forum indicates that the "champange" color pieces came from WM while his "silver" piece came from Target. In contrast, my entire "silver" figure came from a set purchased at WM.

So I have to wonder if there is any rhyme or reason with regards to the coloring. One thing is for sure, if you're not lucky enough to find this entire wave all at once, open up the figures you find first and then bring them with you while you're shopping so you'll be sure to pick up all six pieces of the same tint.
