I am thinking the youngling is suppose to be Obama.......

No, don't you know your EU? That's B'a'rrakk Ama'bo. He later flew a Snowspeeder at the Battle of Endor and became the first chancellor of color in the New Republic.

Geez, get it right. ::)

Oh, got it. :D

Me either.

I'm hoping that since he'll be part of a two-pack, the other figure is either Willis, Kimberly or Philip Drummond.

[Q&A] Answer: Interesting suggestion. There are some new human younglings coming in 2009 in a very special pack, including at least one female. However, they will not be on basic figure cards. More details will be available in early-to-mid 2009.

Well, I guess we finally have confirmation on this one - the Disney Theme Parks Jedi Training Academy 5-Pack.  The set includes some Padawan (the ones that popped up on eBay a few weeks ago) , a Jedi and Vader.  Sounds like it will be available at the SW Weekends this summer...

"The "Jedi Training Academy" show takes place several times throughout the day near the entrance to Star Tours. At Disney-Hollywood Studios in Orlando, FL, where Star Wars Weekends will again be held in may of 2009, the show occurs on a stage themed to look like the bunker on Endor, just in front of the 35-foot-tall AT-AT Walker.

Children are selected from the public, dressed in Padawan robes, and given a crash course in lightsaber technique by a Disney Cast Member portraying the Jedi Master. Those skills come in handy all too soon when Darth Vader arrives on the scene, usually heralded by his Stormtroopers, providing the younglings a chance to match sabers with the Dark Lord. The show is great fun and draws large crowds at each performance, since the interaction with the children makes every show unique.

The action figure set will be manufactured by Hasbro and retail for $39.95. "

Hey it's only $40!

Not including the travel and admission to get to Disney.   ;)

I want to get the set just for that Vader - I don't have any figures of that character yet.  Hopefully they'll make this available through other means (fan club, online, or Disney Mall Stores).

Or they can just come to the house, lube it up, and shove it up our asses.

Sadly, I want the Jedi and Younglings.  Perhaps we can work out a deal Jman, since you need that Vader...  It's a win-win all around.

$40 is gonna hurt...  if I can find someone to pick one up for me in the first place.  I really wish Disney would stick to those super cool exclusives that are so much more broad in their appeal...  Like Slave Leia Bikini Mini Mouse statues, and other **** cool stuff like that, which whores the **** out of expands the scope of coolness that is Star Wars.

Aww man, a Disney exclusive?!?!?!  Disney makes getting the WalMart exclusives look like it's a walk in the park.

This set actually sounds appealing to me? I'll wait and see the pictures and then make my decision. Where the hell is JediMAC when you need him?

Perhaps I need to lay the sarcasm on a little thicker.   ;)

If only someone here went to Disney twice a year and offered EVERY time to grab exclusives for folks. ::)

Here is my question...  Is this a Star Wars weekends only type thing?  Or is will it be availabe year round in the stores like the Star Tours Droids figures were?
