it is kind of wierd that we are getting two IG assassin droids in one year. Better yet both of them are appearing in wave 2 from each seperate line.

Is that IG droid the Magna Guard or Lancer?  Anyway, I may buy a couple figures in the wave depending on how they turn out.  For some reason an animated C-3PO figure has my interest.  I may go for Plo Koon if he's in the clonetrooper disguise.  If Asajj turns out well I may get that one as well.

Ah but he will...eventually. Hasbro commented in a very recent Q&A that they plan to make animated figs in the realistic style. So "for now" is correct. I have hopes that Hasbro will follow through with their statement. If they don't it just means I'll be able to end collecting sooner rather than later. Money lost for them and money spent elsewhere for me.

Yeah, whether or not you're a fan of the animation - that wave looks pretty spiffy.  I especially like the Plo Koon and Ahsoka.

Plo Koon is probably my favourite of the wave. And the paint apps on the SBD looks like it can mix well with the realistic figures...maybe as a different model lol

damn it's getting harder and harder to resist geting the animated figs.

I like Cody and Ashoka, but I'm a Plo Koon fan and have a small focus on him. As well I kind of feel the same about the Super Batle droid, as if it's a different model. Add the Battle Droid from wave one that I like, plus the 212th battle pack, then there's the cool looking Greivous....damn.

I have to either get NONE at all or just go ahead and collect them. What's going to make it tough is that there is an animated clone with the AT-TE. That might make me crack...

Which sucks, because wave 3 is scheduled to release closer to christmas, and the chances of Canada getting it is slim which will in turn make it very tough to get a plo koon. Atleast Ahsoka and Cody will make it up here though.

But despite my usual "Canada will be forgotten rants" this line is looking really good.
