Looks like the Yoda in the battle pack doesnt have the silly action feature. Better buy in my book.  ;D

If the Yoda doesn't have the dumb action feature, I'd happily trade for/buy him from someone once this set comes out. LMK... ;)

Nice, I am definitely going to skip the single releases of Yoda and Obi now just to get these battles packs instead.  :D

Now if they would just release the Separatist side of the equation, that would be awesome.

County Dooku w/four SBDs
Ventress w/four Battle Droids or IG assassin droids

Wow. That Obi-Wan pack looks slick.  Nice to see the smaller box size in these too!

IMO, this is how the Battle Packs should be done.  I think that this could be, hands down, the best Battle Pack assortment if Hasbro continues down this road/theme.  There's a lot of possibilities just going with clones and Jedi generals, not to mention Pete's suggestions of Separatists with their droids.  I'd be all over a Grievous/MagnaGuards set like this.

Are these going to be mass retail items, or are they going to be yet another Target exclusive?

Another great idea for a battle pack.

As far as I'm concerned since I am not army building any of the individually carded animated figures, having sets like these to buy two of each (one to open, one to keep MIB) allows me to build mini-squads/armies by default and even if I was squad building with the animated figures, I wouldn't be buying more than four of each type, so having the battlepack include four of each clone type is damn near perfect IMHO.

I'd almost be happier if it was just at Target.  Its pretty much the only place to get SW stuff around here anyway.   ::)

Then I can just buy these than the basic figure Yoda and Obi Wan.

Looks like these are indeed confirmed as Target exclusives... and due to hit in late November (Black Friday?).

I'm guessing that this DPCI that popped up belongs to them...
