Watchmen Trailer Song: Have you ever wondered what that addictive song from the Watchmen trailer is?

Quote
Zack Snyder used the song in the trailer; however he does not wish to use it either in the soundtrack of the film or within the film itself. As a historical purist, Zack Snyder did not put the music in the film because the Watchmen is based in mid-1980s New York, but the Smashing Pumpkins weren't even formed until the late 1980s in Chicago.

But we can always remember "The Beginning Is the End Is the Beginning" as the perfect choice for the Watchmen trailer's song.

Yeah, too bad it's not making the cut. That toon just screams Watchmen.

Clicky & crank it!  8)

The Beginning Is The end Is The Beginning

I'm trying to find that other song they used in some of the trailers.  Great song, I hope it's in the movie.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

The trailers for this, although similar in content, look more and more kick ass.

I think I'm looking forward to this more than just about any other film this year with the exception of Wolverine.

Watchmen to Run 3 Hours and 25 Minutes on DVD!

Quote
While his latest film extravaganza won't even hit theaters for a few more weeks, director Zack Snyder has already revealed what to expect on the DVD. Collider spoke with Watchmen director Zack Snyder today at the press junket for the film, where he revealed that there will be some extended goodies in store on the DVD.

While the theatrical release of Watchmen is about 2 hours 36 minutes, Zack just told me the DVD/Blu-ray will have two versions to appease the fans that wanted more.

There will be a director's cut on the DVD that will be 3 hours 10 minutes and another cut with Tales of the Black Freighter that will be 3 hours 25 minutes!

Watchmen Clip: Prison Break

Watchmen Director's Cut in Theaters This July.

After a MTV taping, Watchmen director Zack Snyder told the audience some great news: "The director's cut is 3 hours and 10 minutes and comes out [theatrically] in July." This marks the third version of Watchmen, with the theatrical version (running at a paltry 2 hours and 37 minutes) and a Snyder-dubbed "Crazy Ultimate Freaky Edition" DVD of Watchmen.

Announced last December, the "CUFE" DVD will be released this fall and will include the Tales of the Black Freighter animated footage, the death of original Nite Owl Hollis Mason, more dialogue from the newsstand Bernies and Dr. Manhattan on Mars and boasts a 3 hour and 40 minute running time, an extra 30 minutes from the director's cut.

None of the ever-expanding versions of Watchmen will include the original, graphic novel ending, though, Snyder says, the alternative would have been even worse.

Right.  Because every ******' theater has 12 screens now but I have to drive 5 hours to see a film?  **** the Weinsteins!

I don't care that they release Kevin Smith's films, I'll never go to another theatrical release or buy another DVD that in any way will support their company.

They're still expanding into new markets.  If it continues to be moderately successful, you might see it in your neck of the woods.

Fanboys is dead to me now. Kristen Bell could come over, naked, with the DVD and I wouldn't watch it.

I'd lock her in the box in the closet, have no worries, but I'd throw the DVD out, un-viewed.  :P
