A disappointing wave. Sure the resculpts LOOK great, but do we really need a new Agen Kolar already? Although looking at the original peaheaded unarticulated Cody, I won't complain. But like others said, I'd rather have the much needed Palpatines.

I agree that this wave is rather bland. Utai are nice, but a Palpatine is a must. There really isn't a stand-out main character in the wave. I like the concepts, but I really wish we'd get BAD that reflected the movie, like that 'pleasure droid'... BD-3000 or whatever she is. There are too many EU ones in waves that I'm getting and I really have no need for them since I have no attachment to the EU.  :-\

No Palpatine?  It's just stupefying.  This wave is the least exciting so far, just like last year's ROTS wave.

Still waiting for a decent Palpy and Buns Hairdo Padme.  Someday....someday.  I will probably go for the Utai and Cody.  My son likes Plo Koon so I'm sure he will want it  :)

This is a stinker wave for sure. I'll pick up the IG-88 for sure (if he is actually in this wave) and MAYBE I'll pick up Plo Koon, but that's probably it.

What's that Terminator-like BAD from?

It's the YVH-1.  I now know how to display that Vong figure from the comic pack!

Of course it means buying a wave of figures I don't want/need.   >:(
This is the way.

Agreed on the ho-hum issue with this wave.

I like what we're getting, though I think Kolar should've been replaced by Pablo Jill by far, or Barriss Offee, but ultimately these figures aren't overly exciting for the most part.  I'll buy them for sure, but it's one of those waves I'm not looking for much "extra" from it too.  AOTC wave was similar.  It was easy to buy and be done with it.

Army builders rope me in, and this one's devoid of them.

Two Utai or not two Utai, that is the question...

The first pic from SHH, when set-up was still ocurring -

(click for larger image)

And the later in the evening "official" preview night pics from RS:-

Notice that in the first pic, there is a second Utai figure standing behind the Ugnaught and next to Luke.  But then, at some point yesterday the second Utai figure mysteriously vanished from the pile and is not shown with the rest of the wave in the later pics.  I wonder if he got dumped or if they changed their mind about showing him just yet?  :-\

Well damn! I hope they do go forward with the 2nd Utai, or make this a 2-pack. I'd buy a few sets of them. At least 3.

I wish they would just break down and make the Utai a 2 pack.  They are doing it with the Ewoks.  Why not these two?

If I had to guess I'd say too much new tooling for these where the Ewoks have been using the same mold for a year or two now.

The otheR Site has speculation that there will be a New (or maybe repack from the Mygeeto BP) Bacara and Cmdr Deviss.  I didn't see any pictures from SDCC or mention of this in the Hasbro presentation.  Anyone have info on this?

Most of the talk on the 2009 numbering & 2009 repacks over there was taken from this post at JTA, though unfortunately they didn't feel like giving much credit to JTA for the list.

Not surprised that recognition wasn't given, thanks for the link, I was starting to wonder if it was just idle speculation getting dressed up as a rumor, getting twisted into a Hasbro hint, getting contorted into sometihng more (as happens...)

The otheR site never likes to give us credit.  Whatever.  You guys are much cooler like that.

The list we published came directly from Hasbro and was given to me at SDCC.  Though much of the info was out there because of the poster that was handed out at the Hasbro booth.  We just filled in the blank entries which are acknowledged by Hasbro on the poster as reissues.
