They can't all be Steelers and Penguins I suppose.   >:D

That's true, but if you aren't even gonna try then they shouldn't have a team. Selig almost contracted the Twins a decade ago. At least we are trying to win even if we don't spend a ton of money. Why own a team if you don't care to try?

Congratulations to Mark Buehrle of the Chicago White Sox who threw a perfect game today, the first since Randy Johnson in 2004.  I'm glad I started him on my fantasy team today!

I hope it's the Twins, but our pitching staff still scares me. I think whoever it is will only have 85 wins so that certainly helps.

I'll go with Detroit.

Especially if Jarrod Washburn keeps throwing the way he has this year.

The AL East just got a lot more competitive.   Victor Martinez to the Boston Red Sox.

What the heck do the White Sox think they are doing? They can't get Rios now too. The AL Central clearly has a stirct rule that states you can only get out your coin purse to pay new players. Oh wait that is just the Twins CHOICE of how to do things? Never mind then..........

Pretty impressive for Tulowitzki to hit the cycle yesterday.  He's only like the second player in history to do that and have an unasissted triple-play.

Just heard the stat on ESPN that in the history of baseball before Joe Mauer this year there have only been four players to have 25+ HR and have a AVG. at .380+ this late in the season: Ruth, DiMaggio, Gehrig, and Ted Williams. WOW!!!!!!

Congratulations to the Pittsburgh Pirates, the only team in history out of all four major North American professional sports leagues to have 17 consecutive losing seasons!

You've managed to out-suck the 30s-40 Phillies, the 70s-80s Vancouver Canucks, the 80s-90s Sacramento Kings, and the 80s-90s Tampa Bay Bucs.  Congrats!

I'm thinking that when the Cardinals beat the Yankees in the World Series this year and Pujols has two rings we can really start talking about him as arguably the best ever. And how nice will it be to have it be a player that is even a better human being.
