Pretty.  Not buying though.  Have enough of these things.  Looks like Hasbro just opened the door to another slew of prequel repaints.

I'd ahve liked a (film accurate even) V-Wing in IMperial deco before they dipped into "we made this **** up" territory.   :-\

I didn't need to see that. I have enough ARC 170s, but I am a huge sucker for Republic vehicles turned sterile matte colors by the Empire. I don't know how I'm not going to need one of these.

You should be alright... they (Hasbro) haven't been known to pack figures with the Gunships/170s and I doubt they'll start now. But then again, TRU is getting those exclusive $20 range vehicles with pack-in figures, so you never know.  ;)

And we now have found Hasbro's market for these items.

BTW, Jesse, I agree I think an Imperial style V-wing would have made more sense as a first forray into this type of item.

What's the story on this? What's the source material?

Bottom line, this is going too far.

Hasbro wants money without actually having to design something interesting.  See also: endless GI Joe and Transformers repaints.

I have to wonder if they're going to raise the price on the ARC-170 again this time.  Either way, they can keep it.

Sure, but in fairness in the last year we got a gigantic Falcon, a massive AT-TE, with a Clone Turbo Tank and potentially a Sail Barge on the horizon.

Maybe this garbage is to offset the costs of the really solid stuff they're doing from scratch?

I sincerely hope that this is NOT part of the $65 Deluxe vehicle offering.  I know that the TRU ARC-170 was $45, but my suspicious nature is warning me about this.  Wondering if the folks who got the Target DPCI's can check this out.

I think the Imperial markings are interesting.  But really, if Hasbro was gonna go in that direction I would have liked to have seen the V-Wing first.  It at least got screen time in that deco.

I highly doubt this unless they're throwing in a bunch of figures/accessories.  This thing sold for $29.99 a few years back.  I know the economy sucks ass right now, but that's no need for a 100%+ markup.  I really see the Twighlight at that pricepoint.
