What about the big fat Scottish guy who played Jabba in the cut scenes?  I'd really like him.

Also, because it was one of the first things I saw from TPM, I'd really like that tall guy with the White/Black face.

The thread is about who the collectors are going to get behind next, my point is that there have been 10+ characters already named in this thread and each person has their own idea who that should be.  I don't see any massive groundswell for any single character.

That's true, but to be fair, was there really an enormous groundswell for ICMG before you guys got the word out, website, polls, petitions, creating a funny backstory, etc.? I think it took someone (you, in this case) to really spearhead it and make it "real" (which lead to it being REAL real). If you went back to before the whole ICMG thing started, you'd probably have had the same dozens of obscure characters that people were interested in.

ICMG has another thing going for him, though, which is that, while he's an obscure player, he's an actor carrying around an ice cream maker as a prop, which is pretty funny in and of itself. It was so absurd that the character lent itself well to a full on campaign that got fans interested not just because he was an obscure character, but also because it was just pretty funny overall, too.

I think that if someone took another of the SW oddities and got another mainstream campaign going, it would pick up the same way that ICMG did. It would take a very similar approach, but now we know that there is a real end goal that Hasbro can and will play along with, even if it takes years. But just posting a few want lists on a forum isn't going to be enough for that, not for a way-in-the-background kind of character. So who wants to take the torch? And for whom?

How about the Janitor who cleans up all the bodies that fall down shafts and such from Robot Chicken?

I'd get behind that.

I already want this figure...  I'll customize him if I have to someday, but regardless, I must have this guy in the Cantina.

Whatever it is, it needs to be an OT human, or human-esque alien.  Boring to the point that nobody outside of a Star Wars forum really cares... so with that in mind, the one striking hole in all of our collections is MESO (Mos Eisley Security Officer).

No Mos Eisley diorama is complete (or safe) without your local desert security officer keeping the peace.

I think I'd rather have that trashed out scaffolding in the background than a Mos Eisley security officer.

You mean that's not a keg that he comes with?

It's a mobile keg, equipped with security devices to keep the other leeching Jawas away.

But the one with the tapper always gets lost on the way to the party while trying to meet girls.
