That's only $2.00 more than normal for the Luke... quite reasonable for an exclusive.

I tend to look at it as $10.00 for a ladder because I have no interest in that Luke figure.

More or less  my sentiments exactly.  I'll probably lop off Luke's dumbass noggin' (and neck) and add a headsculpt that I feel looks "young" and appropriate to the body.  The current Star Trek figures I feel look pretty good with the Luke body giving the flight briefings a little variety in height.  The helmet will need a splash of paint though I guess.

That's been my plan with Red Leader figures, till I get a new body to swap his noggin onto anyway.

Luke is the HasbroToyShop exclusive? What a bother. That's the worst booth at Comic-Con.

The Stormtrooper Commander is available on ShopStarWars.com for pre-order. I ordered 4 of them. A little expensive, but much less of a hassle then trying to win eBay auctions.

Finally got around to opening these guys up the other night. Has anyone brought up the connector holes at the top of the ladder and what they connect to?

My guess would be Wedge's X-Wing.

My guess would be Wedge's X-Wing.

There are two ladders included with Wedge's X-Wing.

I know that....but I bet the yellow one in the Luke set is the same one that comes with the Wedge X-wing.  There's probably holes on the X-wing that you can attach the ladder to.

There shouldn't be two holes on the X-wing since the connectors on the ladder are female and I doubt they would have to have added male ends to the X-wing. That would have been extra work on Hasbro's part.  :P

Those slots/holes were molded on the original ladder from the cancelled Saga Yavin Accessory Set as well. You can kind of see the protrusions in the image below.

In hindsight, I'm really glad that never came out because I would have bought too many of them.

I definitely feel the same way.  Look at that figure compared to the ground crew figure from the "Scramble on Yavin" pack.  It looks ridiculous!
