Very cool optical illusion!

I found this on another of my regular sites.  This woman can be seen rotating in both directions, depending on how you see it.  Note whether she is turning to her left or right, and see if you can change it.  It DOES NOT change on its own; you have to be able to see her spinning the other direction.  Hint:  it's easier to change her direction if you watch her thigh crossing her other thigh.

I'm a little dizzy right now, but very interesting.  I can't seem to see her change directions on the fly, but if I looked away and look back at the animation, I can see her spinning the other way.

Hmmm, it's still there for me, iFett.  As for getting her to switch, try watching the swinging leg as it's "supposed" to go behind the supporting leg, and visualize it going in front of it instead, and it switches!

I finally got it to work by scrolling down until I could only see her from the knees down, eliminating all the other visual clues that kept her locked in one direction. I then concentrated on making the foot appear to rotate in the other direction. Focus on the planted foot, once it reverses direction in your mind's eye the rest of her will follow. Pretty cool.

Believe me, you can be convinced she turns in only one direction, but try to shift it and eventually you'll see!

I didn't catch it the first time, but he's right - she spins both ways.  I saw her rotating clockwise, then closed my eyes and tried to look for her going the other way.  Try it a few times - I can see her going either way if I really focus on it.
