Target clearance
« on: July 8, 2003, 01:46 PM »
It's about time, too.

Action Fleet, Accessory sets, and Deluxe figures for $6.98 each.

Jedi Starfighters for $13.98, if I remember right.

I'm hoping this is to make way for Clone Wars stuff, of which I've seen no hide or hair of.

My Target has about 5 figures on the pegs, Mace Windu's and other lame figures mostly... They are still bogged down with the Accessory Packs, too, specifically Hoth and Hoth and more Hoth... and they've got a million of those Action Fleet's.

They're gonna have to REALLY clearance these to clear out the shelves, the prices you stated just won't cut it, not down here at least.

My Target has about five figures TOTAL on the pegs and has for months. New stuph might be hitting while I've got my back turned (at work, showering, scooping the yard...), but getting rid of the old Accessory Sets in favor of new ones is okay by me.
Post sober.

No sale here tonight...   :-\

Eh, maybe next time...  Was at least remnants of 2003 figures at Target and Wal-Mart though...  Flying R2 (Bleh) and a lone Total Control Mace Windu...

Oh well, maybe another time I'll find something new.

I got a bitchin' winter white German Stuka from 21st Century Toys though, and it's simply awesome.  Plus you get a Pilot AND Gunner with unique heads.

For $45 you really can't beat that considering the size, weight, and complexity of the toy, not to mention the accuracy in deco and the fact you get two pack-in figures with 18 Points of articulation each AND accessories like figure stands, pistol holsters, oxygen masks, and bombs for the plane...

Yup, that's a steal!  What'd I get with the Gunship?  Yup, not nearly as much, and an underscaled ship.  Thank goodness I got it on clearance.  ;D

So my trip wasn't nearly a bad one!

I went to my local Target, but found no sign of clearance. They had about 10 old figures on the pegs and about 5 accessory sets (all Hoth), and a few Action Fleet sets, but nothing else. I hope they get some new stuff soon because this has gotten really annoying.  :(

Saga Deluxe figures (all three Force Flipping figures  ::) ) are marked down at my Target here in NEPA, but the Accessory Sets are still $9.99.

Finally found a Hoth Han and Boba Fett - PoK at... Wal-Mart!  :o

Felt so lucky I went to TRU and found my first Clone Trooper 3-pack and CW Jedi Starfighter! This one day after I caved and bought over $200 of stuph online.  :-\

Not price reductions but today at Target I picked up Wat Tambor, Padme Wedding, Coleman, Reb Battle Droid, Yoda w/ Chian, Padawan 2-pack.
I left Repaked Han Solo, Darth Maul, & Leia. Also LamaSu, Barris, and other peg warmers.

Went back to my Target last night and found all the above mentioned stuff on clearance including the Yoda electronic lightsaber for 16 bucks or so.

They also had Simpsons and Masters of the Universe on clearance too.
I remember my dream now.
