Surprised nobody posted this figure.

Sideshow has up for preorder the Imperial Shock Trooper for $89.99 & a release of the 4th Qtr 2009.

The Imperial Shock Trooper 12 inch Figure features:

Fully articulated male body (armored body) with 30+ points of articulation
Bodysuit
Fully detailed armor set with helmet
Clone Trooper Carbine Blaster
Clone Trooper Long Rifle
Sideshow Exclusive: Imperial Shock Trooper 12-inch Figure Display Base

Late edit: Sorry for the red x's, Sideshow took the pics off the site. Will replace once they are back up.  :-[

Yea, this was a reluctant pass from me. As much as I'd like a couple, I know I only want one or two clones because if I start picking up all the color schemes, I'm doomed. Period. So I guess I'm holding off for the 501st, Cody, and Gree.

Yeah, there was a time I would have been buying anything clonetrooper related.  Now that every figure is at least $90 that has kind of put a stop to that for me.  The figure looks great though.  Maybe another time down the road?

Who can afford $90 per 12" figure when there are Kubrick Chases selling at over $100?   ;)

I don't know anyone who would pay $90 for a $12 figure.

Yeah, SSC is pricing me out. From $40 to $60 to $75 to $90... Vader for $100 or so I can understand, he's worth it... but $80 for Lando? Jedi Luke and Obi-Wan were in the $50 range. eBay is the answer, for me, with a few exceptions.

ActuallyDarth Vader is $140 if you live in California.  :(

I've been passing on all the troopers as well, they're just way too expensive.

Tax, eh? Yeah, that's a pain in the rear end. I would be able to pay $150 for a Vader like what we're getting... but that sort of upcharge on repainted troopers just won't work.

Anyone know if the regular edition includes a regular black base? The only thing holding me off from getting the regular edition is how I will stand him up  :(.

Not that I can see, no mention of a base in the features:.  Imperial Shock Trooper

That's too bad, I would've bought him. I was thinking that maybe they forgot to say that in the features. I've been on the waitlist for the exclusive version for awhile now and I still haven't converted.  :-\

I don't see why they would not include a stand with the figure.

If they don't, if you go to Hobby Lobby or a similar type of store, they sell stands for 12" figures.
This is the way.

I have spoken.
