Well, he won't fit in those cases, of course, so he's hanging out by himself right now.  I was surprised that Amanaman wasn't too tall.

I paid a little less than that with shipping.  And my red Bib and the full set both showed up today, so this series is wrapped up for me. :D

edit: no Boba for me either, but that's ok.

I let my sons open up some extra 30AC Hasbro figures this weekend and it occurred to me that the Luke Skywalker w/ bone and the C-3PO with Salacious Crumb were figures from that collection.  I also took a look back at the Saga Collection '06 figures and sure enough, Hasbro had released a Chewbacca with the chain, Bib Fortuna, and a Boba Fett (with the more accurate tan suit) in the 'Battle of Carkoon' wave.  When you compare them to the figures from this Kubrick release, they are pretty much spot on.

I find it interesting that Medicom seems to be taking some 'inspiration' from recent Hasbro releases with both their regular releases and their chase figures.  Thankfully for some, they also took some inspiration from the Vintage figures and gave people the red Bib too.

Finally got around to scanning and re-compositing the Jabba's Palace display and I'm going to start printing test sheets that can be mounted on
cardboard. I'm also considering making them at different sizes to accommodate different shelf widths and depths.

The colors on the right one are richer, but the seams on the left one look cleaner. I'll guess the right one's the original, but nice job either way. And good idea on possibly resizing them--these things are real shelf hogs. :)

What kind of glue did you use to mount them to the card stock? I've been wanting to make a custom kub diorama in photoshop/illustrator and print it out. Was thinking the ewok village nighttime scene. I'll be sure to post if I ever get around to it.  ;D

Yeah the left one is the custom one. I used 3M spray adhesive to bond 8mil glossy paper to the cardstock.

Long time lurker here- thought it was about time I joined up after getting back into Kubricks after a couple of years with the new DX series.
Really digging the Jabba set- some great bargins to be had on threepio, artoo, chewie and luke- just need to track down the other 2 now.
That backing copy of the Jabba diaorama is awesome Jayson- any chance of getting a copy to print out?

Wow Jay!  Great job on customizing this!  Are you going to end up displaying your Kubes with this and the Hoth background?
