Today's the 25th, which was the original ship on-or-around date for NCS. I just checked ebay, and nothing has shown up there yet. Hopefully soon...  :-\

According to Medicom's blog, DX Series 2 will be released on the 27th.  Just a few more days hopefully.  Of course, it may take another two weeks for NCSX to get them from Japan and flip them out to us...

From NCS:

Hi Michael, a shipment of toys was shipped to us on Wednesday of this week from Japan but the Star Wars Kubrick DX2 was not included yet. According to the distributor, the release date is August 30 and we'll update our customers when we see the shipment dispatch. Thanks.

Very nice and makes it even more baffling why they went with such lame chases for dx1

While I'm hopeful we will get a General Reikan, FX-7 droid, a Rebel Trooper (or two), or a AT-ST driver/Veers in AT-AT Commander gear, I have a feeling we are going to get a brown coat Han with goggles down, another Chewie with snow effects, or Wampa-damaged Luke.  Considering Medicom released a 'damaged' version of one of their Evangelion basic figures as a chase, I could definitely see a damaged Luke in our future...

I'm glad that I was wrong on the possible Han and Chewie chases, but I'm extremely glad we are getting two figures I was interested to get in the Rebel Trooper and AT-ST Driver!  It will still be interesting to see if there is another Rebel Trooper variant out there...

I still think the red coat Bib is a stellar nod to the vintage era and a great chase piece.  It's not something everyone wants sure, but that's part of what makes it a good chase piece.

The chase pieces for this series are fantastic IMO but they generate a problem for the army builders and are both vintage era pieces as well.  That's great and I'll pick up both for sure.  I think this might be a series worth ordering a box set.

Chases: AT-ST Driver and Hoth Rebel Trooper

The twitter post that contained that pic seemed to indicate that both are 1:96 chases once again.  Hopefully he'll get around to posting the "who goes in what box" info next...

So two chases both at 1:96 and the "third chase" is the build a fig. That seems to be the pattern for the DX line.

Spiffy chases. I like them both. However, I won't go out of my way to get either. I do like them much kore than each of the last two!
