If anyone is still looking for one, an AT-ST driver has popped up on eBay. The bad news, it's listed for $318.93 and $65.67 shipping. It'll be interesting to see how long it stays up there...I still can't get over the scarcity of this figure.

I still don't believe these things are that scarce.  I think lots are tied up in collections and the sellers that have any are holding on to them.  Of course then why doesn't one pop up more than every six weeks or so is the obvious question.

Kinda irritating and if Medicom is going to go this way I'm afraid it'll be another line I end up dumping.  I was ok with paying $150 ballpark for a chase figure (though preferring to wait for a drop in price).  But if they're now going to be $300 to get a chase that's a basic figure from the vintage line forget it.  I can score a pretty nice 12 back Vader for that and I'm not opting for that either.

The exorbitant pricing of the chases are what got me out of the line as well. I might pick up singles here and there but I'm done buying box(es). Too bad, really. Medicom had a real winner here, but ultimately it's just not fun anymore.  :-\

I'll add my "the fun is almost gone" vote.   Not only the crazy-high prices of the chase figures ($300 for a chase is INSANE), but even the regular figures are $15 each if you buy a box.  :(

I stopped being a completeist a while back, which was really hard for me not to have them all.  I know I've got everything through S10 complete, but I started falling off during the Fett Collection.  I'm missing at least 5 rare chases (J-Slot Fett, Red Bib, DLX S1 Fett, Hoth Rebel, ATST Driver) and I'm missing all the carded figures from 2009-2010.

It all just got to be too much money (especially factoring in the arrival of kid #3 in the last year).  I guess I'll just have to be patient pick up the chases I'm missing for cheap in 25 years when collectors are selling theirs to pay for their prescription drugs.  :P

I've sort of been that way about the line for a while as well.  I dont' go out of my way to get chases - that is until my buddy I am Sith pointed out the auction for 6 chases on ebay.  Even then, they didn't cost all that much on a per figure basis.

However, I'm okay with never getting any of the super-rare, super expensive chases.  It just isn't worth it.  I've never been a carded guy so I've saved a lot of Kubrick Cash that way too.

Wow, that's a high shipping rate. Shows up for me at $15.61-$25.28 CDN. Also, if you look at the sellers completed, he sold 1 last night for $294.40. Regardless, it's ******* insane! That is all... kak!

$66.92 CAD/£41.19 for shipping to the UK. I hope for that I would get a Mountie escorting it to my door!

It's even hard to find a Hoth Leia. I've seen more of the chases than her.

And yet the common figs from DX2 are flowing like wine on ebay. Seems like we should've seen a lot more of the chases by now. Actually, this is the first set since I started collecting that I've watched ebay for..Anyone know if DX2 regular sets/boxes/common singles are as prevalent on ebay as they were for previous releases?

Maybe this wave has been bought less by retailers and people planning to resell, due to its high wholesale cost?

I feel like I see more common DX02 figures than I have in previous waves.  I cringe everytime I see the photo of the 4 common guys with a big X through the ones NOT in the auction.  Can this poor bastard just crop the images already?

LOL!  I hear that.

I know it seems like there are a lot of DLX S2 extras out there, but it really doesn't seem like that much more than prior waves to me.  Maybe its a combination of them not selling and people trying harder to recoup their losses than with past waves.  I do think people are buying less boxes/cases than they used to, which somewhat explains the lack of Leias and chase figures.

I'll admit that the pricey/even rarer chases have soured the line a bit for me, but I still really like the past few waves.  I'll definitely keep getting the basic sets and try to pick up the chases if/when I can find good deals.  I'm about 5-6 figures shy of a complete set at this point, but anything over $130-150 for a single figure is just ridiculous.

Only if the silver is sourced from Canadian silver mines and the hooker is sourced from Canadian whore mines.  :P
