Looks like this month's announcements revolve around Medicom's love affair with Johnny Depp (Alice in Wonderland RAH, UDF, and Kub/Be@r 2-pack).

No sign of Deluxe Series 2 in the update...   :-\

I wonder if we will see anything from the Winter 2010 Wonder Festival that's on right now. Nothing I can find yet, maybe a carded exclusive? Duno.  :-\

I've wrong a lot lately, so I will say NO in the hopes of being wrong again.

So does this mean regular series are dead for the next while?  I love the deluxe and will be in for both series but what about getting some regular stuff too?

I'm betting it takes the place of "regular waves" for a while.  They'll probably still have carded and box sets here and there.  I'm more curious to know if these sets will have chase figures and how the build-a-thing will work.

I'd be willing to bet that these series will still have chase figures.  I'm hoping that the chases become more intricate though considering how big these boxes will have to be to house the basic figure and the b-a-f piece.  If the boxes are in fact bigger, I'd love to see an Ephant Mon or Hermie Odle chase in the ROTJ wave and a Wampa or Taun Taun in the ESB wave.

Now see, you go and say Ephant Mon or a Wampa and there we are; chase figures cooler than the basic releases.   :P

As I posted in the Hoth thread, I like the AT-ST but I'm not a big enough fan of the basic figures to really want to buy a box...but put the chance out there I could pull a Wampa?  Blargh!

Looks like we're getting series 3 carded in June at the Medicom Toy Expo. Also Iron Man kubs in November!

MEh, don't need carded repacks, but the Iron Man stuff sounds interesting...
