Just saw another ad for the new
Alien Quadrilogy set:
Word has it that the release date is now November 11, which, boys and girls, sandwiches it right between the Indiana Jones box set (11/4), and the
Two Towers: Extended Edition set (11/18), so set aside some extra money now.
A few details about the set are starting to leak out (although we're still waiting for the official press release from Fox), but it's shaping up to be an absolutely amazing release so far. The original
Alien is being worked on in some capacity by Ridley Scott (don't know exactly what),
Aliens is going to feature both the theatrical cut, and the extended cut via seamless branching, and
Alien 3 will be three-hours long. Plus, pretty much any documentary that's ever been created will be on there as an extra. Visit this huge-ass thread at the Home Theater Forum for more info:
