If it's Jocasta Nu we should all demand a recount.  :)

Agreed. We should also demand a recount if the two utterly useless Naboo Queens win . Just because slots are so scarce now we cannot afford to lose any.

Or put all three of these into an evolutions set and call them "SW women no one cares about!"

See them evolve from crap to craptacular before your very own eyes!

I'd probably buy them if they made them (I bought Breha after all), but I would certainly live my life just fine if Aplilana/Jamilla never get made.

I care too - i voted for her.  I'm pretty sure all these characters will be turned into figures by 2018.

I've been doing a little JD Wishlist updating lately and the following are huge outliers which scream shenanigans on the poll:

Corde
Queen Apilainia
Darth Plagueis
Darth Cadaeus

And to a lesser degree:

Queen Jamilla
Tzivvzt
Cane Addiss
Taym Dren-garen

Everyone else on the poll at least sniffs the JD top 10s.  Now I realize JD is a sliver of the overall collecting public but those first 4 were huge bullcrap and there had to be some fraud going for them.

bullcrap or not on Darth Plagueis, thats the one my son 6 year son went ga-ga over when he saw all the pics of the finalists and I told him he could vote.  So, apparently he has "kid-appeal".

So is the official count over?

I can see Hasbro making Darth Plagueis. They could make most of him from existing figures. Since there really isn't any could picture source for him, we as collectors won't be able to complain to much about what he looks like. Basically he's a banking clan dude with sith robes on...

Darth Cadaeus is another one that can be mostly kitbashed from existing parts.

Kinda lame if Hasbro goes that route though.

I was really hoping for Bastila Shan or Guri (mustard/purple outfit).

So when are the results revealed? And I could see either Jocasta, Plagueis, or Caedus winning.

The polls are definitely closed.  I think we're likely to see the results published in the next issue of Toyfare to hit the stands.  That should be issue #153, IIRC.

According to an interview at JTA, TF editor Justin Aclin confirmed that the 2009 Fan Choice Poll Winner (along with #2-5) will be revealed in Toy Fare #151, due this Wednesday.  Since subscribers often get theirs a few days early, the info could come as soon as today.

Anyone want to hazard a guess at the winner?
