Can't wait to get this wave.

Is there any place that breaks down the kinds of troopers on Endor? I know there's the trenchcoat guys, the vest guys and the fatigues guys. Were there any more?

And on the same topic, were they supposed to be the Rebel's special forces team? I would assume they didn't just send grunts to take out the shield generator.

Also, from what's implied in ROTJ, Han picks the team himself...  That leads me to believe they're definitely special forces despite any EU materials.

By the way, I just placed an order, and only allowed me 2 Gams and 2 Endor Rebs.  Just incase anyone's curious.  Thanks for that code Jeff. :)

Well I had 2 Gam Guards in my cart and while I was trying to make it to $50 and free shipping, they sold out.

Endor Trooper is the Pegwarmer in my area shockingly enough.

How many were actually on Endor, I may stop at that number.

Endor trooper has been the easiest to find in my area too (so far).

I wonder if that horrid face has something to do with it... just doesn't look nearly as good as what we've seen Hasbro do as of late.  Also the coat hides his new upper body sculpt/articulation.  A friend of mine thought it was just the older sculpt with a new head and passed... not everyone sees pics online.

Well, I was able to order everyone except the Gammorean Guard. I grabbed a couple Endor rebels. Maybe I'll try to do a headswap on those guys.

I like the idea of a rebel commando squad. I also like the fact that they're wearing rag-tag fatigues...it gives them the look of WWII freedom fighters. And it's much more realistic than the commando armor that we see Luke wearing in the comic pack from last year...

It's a fair many it seems...  Especially throwing in the Dressellians too.

The infamous picture around Vader gives a number, but I don't think it's the accurate number of troops.  Plus then they split up...  It's one number that's a real pain to tack down specifically.

I found this wave at WM this morning, and picked up a few.  Only one Gam. Guard there, but lots of the Endor trooper here as well (somewhat surprisingly).  Picked up some extras of some of the others as well though (Luke, Ackbar, Wicket), just a great wave overall.  It is really full of some "ultimate" versions of many characters, so it is tough not to grab some each time you see them.  One of the best waves in a good while I think, with several "figure of the year" candidates.

Found these at my local WM today. Best wave in years. Had to hold back on some carded figures, but couldn't resist picking up a few for my carded collection- Gam. Guard, Luke, and Wicket.

6 AM on Sunday, woke up and found these back in stock and shipping in 1 business day at hasbrotoyshop.com

Limit 2 of each figure per customer, and don't forget Family2010.  You need to spend $50, but you'll have this whole wave shipped to your door for $7 each.

Glad these are back up, I've been annoyed for 2 days since Gamorreans went out of stock while they were in my cart/checking out on Friday.

Jeff, thanks for finding the bargain as usual!  I ordered a set of 8 figures this morning - can't go wrong at $6 per figure instead of $8 at retail.  I'm still going to try to get my second set locally because I like the hunt and want to make sure I get nice cards/bubbles, but very happy to at least have 1 of each secured!

From this moment for all my life. What could I say? Was born to be this way. And what could I say?  Just livin' for today

I loved this Luke figure so much that I made him my standard ROTJ base for all of his outfit changes. FYI - I will be changing out Jedi Lukes gloved hand soon

Jack,

I'm curious how you'll do this with the way his wrists are articulated.  To my knowledge, they haven't done this type of articulation on a wrist before.

One thing that would've made this Luke perfect, and a nice vintage nod, would've been a softgoods cape.  :D
This is the way.

I have spoken.

Clone Wars Clones have that style articulation Matt, but I think in general the pegs are about the same size as average figures, and ultimately you could fill in the hole and retap it (like a stripped screw in a board) to a smaller diameter incase the regular wrist pegs are smaller.

Just squirt some epoxy in there, and tap it with a small drill bit.  It'd work perfectly.
