Wow, I totally called R2's card (can't remember what thread that's in now).  Don't like that what is apparently a Senate Duel Yoda has the ESB pic on a ROTJ card.  Hmm.  Otherwise, all kinds of awesome.  Still wish Luke had a new card.

Lovely.

I can see a few "Tastefull" alterations to the card art of Gam Guard and Woof -tolerable though.

Can't wait for these -A+

Yeah, not digging that R2. I understand it, but can't get behind it.

I had no idea Kenner had made a Vintage Gam.Guard. Wow.

If they're using that picture of Luke, give him his vest and cloak.

Me either.  It's sacrilege.

Interesting that Hasbro is using the exact same vintage card photos for the Gamorrean Guard, Wooff, and Rebel Commando, but they don't seem to be heavily airbrushed/colorized like the original Kenner versions.

Wicket's nameplate now reads just "Wicket" and not "Wicket W. Warrick" (which is probably for the best because I never understood why he got a full name anyway except that it was undoubtedly a tongue-in-cheek reference to Warwick Davis).

I agree that Yoda with a lightsaber on a ROTJ card is a little bit of sacrilege.  Why isn't Hasbro releasing him with a brand new card in the ROTS wave???  It would make more sense to pair him with the Senate Duel Sidious.

Luke looks almost naked without a cloak on that card... I wish they would have found a different photo and made him a Death Star Duel version (which everyone wanted in the vintage line but never got).

Ackbar is incredible and is definitely the update we've all been waiting for--same with the Gamorrean.

Have to agree, definitely one of the best waves Hasbro has done - and I can't wait until it starts showing up.  The Gamorrean, Ackbar, and Wicket all look great - as do the Endor Soldier, Wooof, and even the Luke and R2 look like nice updates (curious to see the R2 in person).  I'm a little confused on the Yoda as well.  I'd have rather seen a new OT version or even Spirit version included here, if they were going to have a Yoda in this wave, and/or shift this one to the ROTS wave.  Something just off about seeing Yoda w/lightsaber on an OT cardback (aside from the whole ESB picture and ROTJ cardback issue).  Other than that though, these look great - and I'm still loving the return of these cardbacks.

Nice wave, realism on gamorrean guard is amazing!! Canīt appreciate the Yoda details, hope he comes with trousers like the 1980īs release. Ackbar is a cool update, also a must for collecting. I wish Luke card was different, perhaps a photo of him with Vader on the bridge, where they talk in rotj. He could be called "Endor Capture Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight)".

About Rebel commando, is not clear whereas he is bald or not, but his outfit on previous photos is decent and nice.
Woof looks as the evolution of Klatu, perfect figure.

The Rebel Commando bears a striking resemblance to one of the folks at Hasbro.  And it's also very reminiscent of a previously released Endor Rebel in one of the collectible tin sets.  Hmmm.

You know what this wave needs? Special chase cards that say "Revenge of the Jedi" on them.

Beautiful wave, with only Yoda and R2 being the real stinkers. Have we even seen any detailed pics of Yoda from any of the recent conventions? If so I missed them.

I wish Hasbro would do a case with 2x the G Guard, 2x the Commando and 2x the skiff guard (slipping on the name at the moment) and 1x everyone else. But I'm sure they'll find a way to sneak more Vaders, Anakins and Obi-Wans into the case assortments. ::)
