Didn't the Evo sculpt have a non articulated torso? That image there looks to have the ball-joint torso.

The Evo sculpt has a swivel waist. Not the best, but not awful. The figure pictured does look to have a BJ waist.

The Episode III Clone Trooper was confirmed as a Greatest Hits offering in THIS RS Q&A SESSION.  The official photography (at least in the Brian's Toys listing) was a little washed out, so it's tough to make out all of the details on that one.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping that the clone would be a retool of either the Gelagrub trooper or Commander Gree, but that does not look to be the case.

I was thinking the ROTS Clone looks almost like the Gunship Gunpod Clonetrooper with a removable ROTS style helmet.

It's a SA figure with removable bucket, so it fits all the things people are seeing there I think, and ROTS style removable helmets are available.

JTWR gets a nice look at Sidious in this week's QnA:

Not as accurate as I'd like but it'll do.  :)

It's certainly a better likeness than the Evolutions Darth Sidious.  He definitely looks maniacal!  But the photos still don't give you a good picture of the articulation.  Still, a prior Q&A session said that this Sidious would be pretty well articulated.  And considering the fact that he's got all of these softgoods we should expect that much.

Hopefully they reuse that body when they make a new ROTJ version.  It looks pretty solid.

This is an excellent example of how well Hasbro's sculpting has gotten for TVC! Palpy has individually-sculpted teeth! His face does look creepy, though. This is a great figure.

Although it doesn't look like this figure can do it, I wish Hasbro would have given him an angled wrist (like LC ESB Snowspeeder Luke) so that the figure could actually point the lightsaber, especially since Palps does that a lot.

Brians Toys has a little bit bigger pic...I think you can see Brown Highlights on the hood and arms...I am a little less mad this morning ;)

Those aren't brown highlights, they're blue.   :-X

So what do people think of our first glimpse at a vintage style Commander Cody card?

I think the card on this figure looks very very cool -there are some apparent  improvements to the figure aswell- Belt being one.

I may buy this now ,but i'm still not sure about the figure. I missed even seeing this at retail last year and deco and sculpt still seem a little off. Deco appears too defined and cartoony.
So i would value fellow defenders opinions on the quality of this one.

EDIT Sorry no link -but look in the obvious places

I checked Rebel Scum, Jedi Temple Archives, and Galactic Hunter and none of them had anything about this on the front page that I could see.

Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm keen to check this out...

Carded Cody  (it actually looks like the Foiled "UGH" Cody)

I've been waiting for carded pics to turn up as how nice the prequel stuff looks (or how bad it looks) will ultimately determine if I go "all in" on carded collecting this line or not.

Same here.  I'm thinking I'll be picking up a carded set of at least the OT figures, but I'm on the fence about the prequel stuff as well.  I'm a sucker for those types of cardbacks, but I worry if I just grab a few I'd want to get the "set".  Plus, it would save a lot of money avoiding them ;).

Looks as bad as I feared. I'll be happy to avoid a carded set of the PT stuff.
