Actually, she lives back here now... residency is over.  We've got another set of plans for tonight that I can't break that I forgot about, and tomorrow is the best friend's wife's birthday and there are reservations that I'm not going to skip out on.

Oh well.

Do we want to try and move this to Thursday or are we just letting Rob suffer.

The 2 guys I recruited are locked in for Monday, we had to move it to that day to sell it to them.  We may be back down to 7 teams if we move it.

Considering we were expecting to draft in 24 hours, we should probably just let Rob pre-rank his players.

Let me suffer.  Thursday is the original day that I said I couldn't do it on because I've got these here concert tickets.

Wednesday is the only day this week that would work for me, but I seriously don't expect any favors whatsoever.

I can do Wednesday, but we have this:

I'm okay with every night except Wednesdays due to a dart league.

And 1 of the 2 I recruited can't do wednesday either.

Ugh, that sucks.

I think I'll leave it at Monday only on the basis of the timing of the request.  Sorry Rob.

Yeah, seriously guys, it's alright.  I'm just busy and that's sort of how it goes.  I'll spend some time tomorrow at work ranking players and hopefully I'll end up with something better than I had last year.

I most definitely don't mean to cause any headaches, and everyone should definitely proceed tomorrow night without me.

Maybe I'll get lucky.   :)

Fair enough.

I shall crawl back into my hole until September.

Carry on.

Wow... not too bad I think given the auto-draft.  Not as bad as I was expecting in any event.

Brent, anyway you'd be willing to give up Zobrist or Longoria?

Given that I didn't really draft the team, I'm open to just about any fair trade offer... and those are two guys I was definitely hoping to end up with.  Apparently I didn't rank Longoria high enough, looks like I could have had him.

Probably not.  Longoria I couldn't replace at 3B now with anyone realistically that would come close.  Zobrist maybe down the road, but to be honest I drafted him as my SS.  If Reyes ends up being fine then he might be available but until I'm sure of that the answer is no.

Reyes is where I screwed myself up with the draft.  Taking him meant I had to be sure and cover him off in the draft.  Easy enough, slide Zobrist up there but then I needed a 2B so I grabbed Uggla too who I didn't really want to own.  Add in I don't at this time really love Billy Butler (my intention all along was to wait to get Cuddyer and play him at 1B) and my plan was messed up.  Had I not taken Reyes I wouldn't have needed Uggla and then I'd have grabbed Cuddyer a round earlier and then Liriano in the slot where I took Cuddyer.  Not that I think my pitching is hurting, I just wanted Liriano.
