Now of course I have to have an internal debate about whether or not I need to hit more Target stores this week trying to track down as many of the remaining GLs as I can before the sale ends...

Gah, I am so weak sometimes...  I came home from Target today with Hannu, Voz, G'hu, Green Man, Galius Zed, and Stel.    :-[

Actually, I'm not that disappointed in myself. At $4 each, these are pretty nice figures for what they are.  Articulation sucks, but there are some really nice sculpts (G'hu, Hannu).  Still want to find Isamot Kol and Abin Sur too.  Maybe the mad Guardian Krona...  but that's it.  I hope.

Over the past weekend, I finally tracked down Isamot Kol (on clearance at K-Mart for $4), so now I have all thirteen Green Lanterns they released in 3.75" form - Hal, Tomar, Kilowog, Sinestro, Hannu, Voz, G'hu, Green Man, Galius Zed, Stel, Abin Sur, Isamot Kol, and the "box set only" Salaak.

At $4 each, I really love them.  Never would have bought into this line if they hadn't come down this far in price - $8-9 for these was a total rip-off for the articulation they have.

Picked up Tomar-Re with the scorpion thingy and singles of Sinestro and the toad looking lantern -- Mr. Green or something.

Nice custom fodder as Star Wars denizens.

I've been seeing a lot of these on clearance at WM and Target lately as well, I've been tempted to pick a few up for that too.  Lots of interesting aliens.  Is it safe to say this line (like many movie lines) seemed to tank pretty badly?  I don't know, but locally, it didn't seem like these moved at all.  I don't think we ever got past the first wave or wave and a half of the Movie Masters ones at retail.

Mattel is having a clearance sale on these on line with some pretty good prices, low shipping, and a 10% off coupon code: "IW4009266"

I ordered 6 figs from this line for just over $12

I honestly think most of these things are just going to end up getting destroyed. Our Walmarts can't give them away, even for $3 or less in some cases.
