My local Target just reset the action figure aisles in the last two days and stocked a bunch of the first wave of the Secret Wars figures.

John, is that your new website you linked or are you just a writer?  I was wondering what you were up to after your other sites all shut down.

I've been seeing the Secret Wars pack everywhere.  Target definitely has them in abundance.

Yeah, that's my new deal.    I wanted to try something similar but different and just have some fun with it.

Shoot... I have none of these figures, and have been desperately trying not to get any... but shoot.  I want all of those wave 2 ones.

I saw the first wave of Secret Wars packs (and an expanded MU section) at our local Target yesterday.  They do look pretty cool, at least to me.  I would have picked them up, but had them on preorder at BBTS and apparently they are shipping now.

You don't sound very excited about it?  Thanks for the link to the pics!

This line just gets better and better.  Original Thor, New Thor, Black Widow, Luke Cage, Vision, and Hawkeye - every single one of them looks amazing!

If anyone is still even remotely interested in the Wolverine line I spotted those Deluxe figures at a Wal-Mart today. They had all 4, and only the Weapon X with the bacta tank thingy was tempting. I ended up passing on them all because they're actually pretty pointless by now.

For those not familiar with the DLX line or 2-pack Wolverine line.  I picked up the Blob/Sabretooth and Wolvie/Colussus pack and did not realize that the Blob and Colossus figs are really only accessories with barely any articulation.  Big bummer since the Blob sculpt looked pretty decent and the Colossus outfit was so different than his other outfits.  The DLX Wolvie tank is pretty nice actually, but I would recommend placing the Weapon X version in its place.

Also, does anyone know if the SDCC Cap is going to show up again?  I keep missing it.

I purchased what will be my last Marvel Legend tonight - I picked the BAF Nemesis figure.
I have been told to go to hell; well at least I will know everyone there!

I saw the deluxe Wolverine figures (Blob, etc)....blah.  Really disappointing seeing that they were, like you said, nothing more than accessories.  :(
