I am considering collecting this line.  Finally saw them in person last night and I was very impressed.  The last time I collected Marvel Figs was the Marvel Famous Covers.  I need to know if the following is the correct figs associated with each wave.  I am not concerned about variants just the basic figs.  Please let me know if I am missing any.  Also I would like some feedback from people who collect.  Also the cheapest place to buy.  And are any of the older waves still available anywhere.  So far it looks like TRU has the best price. Thanks in advance.

Wave 1:
Toad
Iron Man
Hulk
Captain America

Wave 2:
Thing
Namor
Human Torch
Dr. Doom

Wave 3:
Ghost Rider
Magneto
Thor
Wolverine
Daredevil

Wave 4:
Beast
Elektra
Gambit
Punisher

Wave 5:
Silver Surfer
Colossus
Nick Fury
Mr. Fantastic
Sabretooth
Red Skull
Blade

For when this gets moved....

Wave 1 is mostly long gone.  Wave 2 for the most part is still on Canadian shelves.  Wave 3 is still available in some places, though Canada not good for that one.  Wave 4 is just out in the last couple of weeks.

Definitely read the thread from Mikey's link.

right now in stores i see Wave 3 the most, and traces of wave 4.

games stores tend to have wave 2 and traces of wave 3. and sometimes toads from wave 1.

btw at TRU they had 4 cases of wave 4, me and soem guy were opening them looking for chase figures.
and also i wanted the punisher with the best face, hehe.

i love this line, and plan to stick with it for good.

Some more thoughts after viewing the better pics over at ADC:

Colossus keeps getting better and better.

I like MF's hands, although his head still looks a little big.  Maybe it's his "balloon head" look.   ;)

Blade is a perfect likeness of Snipes.  His motorcycle looks a little funky, though.

Fury looks cool.  I heard he's coming with his trademark stogie.  Where is it?  It does look like his mouth is sculpted for it.

Red Skull - awesome, I still hoping he won't be that hard to find.

Silver Surfer / HtD - cool.  Surfer has magnets in his board, so all sorts of positions are available for him.

I found the newest Daredevil and Spiderman Parachute today

The Daredevil is a ton better than the previous SM Classics and Even Movie Version.

I heard rave reviews over the Parachute Spidey so we shall see once I open him, looks good at first inspection

I also am looking forward to the X-Men Classics line but like I have said before cannot understand the Hulk line at all.  An Avengers line would make so much more sense IMO

Hey OCB, just curious what you thought of the Parachute Spidey.  I have been wanting to find a nice, red and blue Spidey that would display with my Marvel Legends figures well, and I had heard this is a pretty good figure.  Just wondering what you thought of it.  Also, thanks for the info on the Daredevil, I thought it looked pretty good in some pictures I saw online, and after (finally) seeing the movie on DVD (and buying it) this past weekend, I kind of want to pick one up as well.

He is pretty cool...

Some of the guys were asking me in the chat room if he was as articulated as the 1st Spidey Classic Version and he almost is, I count over 30 points...

The sucky thing is the lack of thigh articulation so he is sort of stuck in some really straight legged poses.  Swivel hip socket and shoulders though make this a very cool figure...

Note...I believe they mixed up Parachute Spiderman and Rocket Launch Spider Man when they took those pics

Wow, I might pick that Spidey up.  I know I said in another thread I don't want variants of Spidey figs, but I still need a good Spidey to go with my Marvel Legends.  This might be it.

Does anyone know a sort of "wave breakdown" of the Spiderman Classics line?  I've tried to get to Toybiz's site, but it seems to be down right, but I was just curious which figures were in which waves.  Mainly, I was trying to see how up to date things are around here...and when the new Daredevil/Parachute Spidey wave might be showing up.  This past weekend I didn't do a lot of digging through the pegs, but I know I saw a lot of that Manga Spidey...so that must be the wave that's around here now.  Thanks.

If anyone's looking for a comic book version of Spidey to go with your Marvel Legends, might I suggest the new parachute Spider-man.  I originally thought the rocket launching one was better, but after reading comments on the ADC forums and finally seeing them in person last night, the parachute one is the better choice.  Very poseable and true to the comic book look.  Just throw away or hide the parachute and no one will be the wiser ;)
