ToynewsI.com has some pics up of Marvel Legends Series 8.  Nice to get some new looks at these.  Sounds like the wave overall isn't too bad.  I'd like to pick up the Ock for sure.  I've always been a fan of Ice Man, but I'll have to see it in the stores to decide for sure (if I see them in stores) ;).

I am all about Man-Thing and Doc Oc, but I hate the look of Black Widows neck. The prototype version rocked so much more.

The Wal-Mart nearest us has appeared to go on a Christmas stocking extravaganza, with virtually all the toy lines packed to the gills right now.  I finally saw some new Marvel Legends around here for the first time since we moved here in May.  They had a smattering of Series VI, I saw a couple Brown Wolvies, one Cable, and a couple Thomas Jane Punishers.  They also had stocked more of some of the past waves, even saw a Series 1 Cap on the pegs.  I was tempted to get the Wolvie, but left it for now.  The wife wasn't having it.  It was nice to actually see something new show up.  If they would have sold off some of the Nick Furys and Silver Surfers, maybe there would be more room for additional ML :).

Also, although not necessarily "new" news since we've heard some of this before, but this was recently posted on the TNI forums:

Possible Series 9 lineup.  I guess overall it doesn't look like too bad of a lineup, nice to see figures like Professor X, Nightcrawler, Bullseye, and Doctor Strange included (well, we've seen Strange, but the others).  Also of note, I see that one of the red "bursts" on there mentions that the bases have firing projectiles.  Wha? :)

I saw that at Fwoosh a couple of weeks ago...I think those went up the same time the FF shots did a month or two ago.  I'll be getting them all except Deathlok, War Machine and maybe Bullseye

No love for War Machine? He could battle right next to your Iron Man!

Was Deathlok post 1985?  I guess so, around 90 or so.  I could send you a complete run if you'd like :-*

Damn! I'm one year past the legendary mark. I guess I'll just settle for great. ;)

Any figure specs on War Machine or the others yet?

I suppose the 'All bases fire projectiles' thing is part of the whole relaunch thing TB has in mind for ML.

I like that wave. I pretty much want them all. Depending on how the Hulk looks will determine if i will be going after the chase. Rumors say Prof. X has a chase, personally i only want a Hover Chair version.

Argh. Ben hates chases. I bet one of the Hulks will end up being a chase as well.

At least I have the movie Prof. X, so if I don't find the ML version, I'm not hosed. And I don't want another Hulk figure.

Can't wait to see Nightcrawler and Deathlok.

Not so keen on another Hulk here.  I have three - my wife bought me one of the crappy movie figs, I have the shirted ML version and a Mr. Fixit from the Hulk Classics line (why not re-release some of those?).  So I don't need a green Hulk or a grey Hulk :-\

I think a non-Mr. Fixit Grey Hulk is definitely warranted.  That's how the Hulk debuted, and there were some great storylines in the late 80's/early 90's with the grey Hulk as well.
