They do the same with McFarlane variants, though they usually keep better track of the numbers.  I did actually get my white Gretzky's from them though I know of lots of people that didn't.

I'll still always take a shot with them, just with very low expectations.

The ease of cancelling and keeping track of the orders is enough for me to keep using them.  But their head up their asses on the quantities they solicit is mind numbing

Also...rumor for the next Spidey Villain...Beetle

Meh, I'll take another spidey villain any day, even something as obscure as that.  Still need to do a comic version of Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy (I'd even take a dead Gwen as a pack in with a classic GG).

Tombstone would be a cool addition as well.

My Phoenix was gone today too  :(
I sent them an email for an explanation (I've never had this happen before but I don't collect much of any other figures besides Rogue and Jean/Phoenix) and here's the reply.

I did not email them at all, just sort of wrote it off.  Checked my hotmail account and lo and behold a $15.00 gift certificate.  Now if only they'd get the sinister six gift pack in stock, I'd be a happy camper.
