Went to a local TRU and saw a big display for star wars stuff in the front. The Rise of Boba Fett pack was $109. ($10 more than original price). However I went into the star wars section and found an empty area for the battle pack with the price of $89. I wonder which was correct?

I would say the $89 is the accurate price, as this is the current sale in effect since yesterday. My TRU had conflicting tags too, and another customer asked the same thing. It was $89 at the register.

I stumbled across one of these on Friday at TRU and man, what a big box.  Looks like a neat set but I only really wanted the astromech so an obvious pass.  I was going to check the Canadian price too, but no functioning scanners.

Brent, if you pick this set up at some point and want to unload Bossk, hit me up.  I'll take him off your hands, and will trade pemmican for him most generously.

Saw about 80-90 of these stacked to the ceiling yesterday.  They sold through quite well in my neighborhood when they were $79.99 and it looks like they're back on sale this week.

If I buy this and get a free Kul Teska, and then return the UBP, do I still get to keep the figure? How would they enforce that? Just subtract the list price of that item from my return I am guessing?

I'm pretty sure they'd let you keep the figure - they've let me keep giftcards in the past, but the free figure dealy was only for yesterday only.

From TRU's website:

"Promotional Items

Any product that is returned without a promotional item(s) that was included with the original transaction (e.g., buy a TV, get a free DVD player; buy a TV, get a free gift card; or buy a TV, get a DVD player half off) will have the value of the promotional item deducted from the refund amount."

So yeah, if you returned the UBP, they would keep $14.99 plus tax for the Kul Teska (unless you return him at the same time).

Huh...They've let me keep my free giftcards and have refunded the full amount on several occassions.  Must be because I'm a TRU stalker...   >:D

JTA is reporting the MSRP on this has officially been dropped to $79.99.

That's not what the tags say around here, but maybe it rings up that way.

I'd love one of these for openers but not for a penny over $25.

If the AT-AT can go for $12.47, they can swing something sweet for the UBP as well. Well, if it wasn't TRU.
