How 'bout this guy as a chase?

http://internationalhouseofgeek.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/starwarsdeletedscene3final.jpg

I think there is zero chance of a deleted scene figure.  Never say never I guess, but I don't see it happening.

Suppose I was to nerdily point out that you can also see him during the Endor celebration?... Haha, but yeah I'm never right with my chase guesses, so now I just make outlandish picks. Speaking of Endor:

How about making the chases worth more than $500 this time around...

Henry Jones, Sr.
Endor Rebel Trooper

That would be too cruel! Plus they need to save the rebel trooper for Endor DX.  :)

I could easily pass on the Sean Connery.  Endor Rebel would be hard to pass up though.   :-\

preorder is up on big bad toy store:  http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/search.aspx?search=dx+04

Tempting.  I was happy with HLJ this last time around, so probably going to go with them or NCSX.

do you know if you ordered 4 boxes from NCSX, do they give you a master case? or just 4 random boxes.

The MN Group ordered a Master case from them for DXS1 and DXS2.  We added in the comments that we wanted a full master case and they delivered with sealed cases including the display.

Anyone know how long you have to cancel the preorders from HLJ and NCS? I'd like to preorder a box with the option to cancel and go the full set route if the chases are sweet.

Also, who had the lower price on a box for DX3: NCS or HLJ?

Well, I have now.   ;)  I ordered 4 boxes and asked for a master case - we'll see what happens.

So, I have 6 basics sets of 7 available for anyone who wants to lock in now.  I'm asking $85 plus $5 to ship.

I should have a cardboard display available if anyone wants to throw their name in for that.  I'm asking $45.
I will also have some individual basic figures for sale at $12 each.  I'm not sure which ones - let me know what you want and I'll hold it for you if I have it.
Also going to have a spare Probe Droid for $25.

Can't believe this is only a few months away!

so this is the response I got back from HLJ about if they sell master cases. Take it for what it is worth:

Hi Nick,

Thank you for writing in.

We cannot guarantee that multiples of four will be shipped out in their original shipping cases, due to the way we receive shipments from our suppliers and how stock is handled here.

Thank you for shopping at HobbyLink Japan! We appreciate your business!

Best Regards,

Brian Keaney

I received the same notice from Brian, which is total BS.  The product is shipped in master cases, so they ought to be able to keep a solid set of 4 unopened and just forward on to the end consumer.  If they aren't going to include the display and may mix and match boxes, then I'm not ordering from them.  Just not worth it.   >:(

That is the only upside is that every box could have a chase, or you could potentially walk away with 2 chases.  I'm risk adverse though.  For that kind of money, I need to know that I'm definitely getting a chase and a background piece.
