Over the weekend I picked up the At-At. Well, technically, my wife picked up my At-At  ;) , and found some random vintage figures - about half the set. Found the other half today at Target, and as I was about to walk to the cash register, the store manager came rushing over to inform me that they were street dated and he couldn't sell them. Despite the fact all 7 surrounding Target stocked them over the weekend. He took 'em, I called corporate and he brought them right back.

TRU.  Brick and mortar.  AT-AT $99.99.

In front of the wife, which took balls.

Has she given them back yet?  :D

I picked up...

2 more Snowspeeders for $19.99 each (yay for sales), an extra Dak, Boba Fett, and a couple GI Joes.

Fett's a neat improvement, actually.

Crap I thought that one was a repack of Evolutions.  What was the improvement on this version?

My Target had absolutely everything today.  Figures, vehicles and all.  Surprised to see AT-AT's just laying around, that'll be taken care of by November I'm sure.

It's a repack of the Evolutions and TLC #36 sculpts but the deco is altered slightly to more closely reflect his coloration in ESB and his signature rifle is painted more realistically as well. The cape is still way too long though.  :P

Yeah, I didn't think the deco changes would bug me enough to buy, but saw him tonight and I liked the rifle enough even, to cave and make the purchase.

Finally scored Jodo Kast tonight. I had been checking five K-Marts everyday for this damn figure and tonight I went into a K-Mart and was helped by what had to be the nicest K-Mart employee I've ever come across. She offered to look through the stock room to find him for me and when she couldn't find him on her own, she offered to let me come back into the stockroom with her and help her look - I was able to find the case, grab the two I needed.

The best part is now I can finally stop hitting K-Marts every day....

Dude, it sounds like next time you might want to stop, run, and tell someone you trust.

Sounds like she stopped just short of offering you some candy to follow her back there.

In what must be a rare situation, that wouldn't have been entirely a bad thing.

To be honest though, that kind of thing never crossed my mind, my collector OCD was fully kicked-in and all I had in my mind was getting those Jodo Kast figures!

This morning I was able to score the Wave 1 Battle packs for my MIB collection and the Saga Legends Wave 2 figures for my MOC collection. I also scored a second one of the Battledroid 2-packs to open. I'm gonna definitely have to track down a couple more of those for my Geonosis Arena display.
