I saw my first Darth Maul packaged SW toy today...the talking Yoda plush.  :-\

Like Dressel said, none of the stores around here appear to be stocking any of the new lines yet. I keep reading about all these great finds too and it seems like I'm in one of the few places that has adhered to the street date at every single store. Bastages.

We got a few cases of the TPM wave a few weeks back at Target but no new MH or CW. No new Deluxe, no new vehicles, no new battlepacks.

Saw all the new main line shwag at WM yesterday - left all the new main line shwag at WM yesterday.  Just waiting on finding the WM exclusive wave.

I am still confused about that exclusive WM wave.  Are they going to be the same cost as their same release on Vintage cardback.  Is there an extra accessory for buying the WM version?  I am an opener, so should I just buy whichever I find first?

I know they come with ultra-cool 3D glasses.  ::)

Saw all 4 new TVC Deluxe sets and all 4 new TVC mid-size vehicles at TRU this morning, hot off the truck. Man, you really have to look for these things...they were placed all the way down the aisle apart from all the other SW action figure stuff.

They also had all the new TCW figures, also set apart from everything else all by themselves...almost missed them.

They did not have any new TVC figures though, or any of the new Battle Packs, which I found a little curious.

I saw the first wave of Movie Heroes at WM, and was tempted to get a Maul just because I thought it might be nice to have the "character on the card" figure from each line if they continue this theme for the other 3D releases...if that makes sense.  Like having a Maul on Maul card, and next year Yoda or whoever it will be, and so on.  But, I scanned it and it rang up at about $9, so I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Weirdness...hit up 3 different Walmarts today and saw the same thing at each one: a small smattering of TVC, no CW or MH/Legends, and no BP's - but two cases of the new deluxe sets sitting out untouched.

Scored the WM exclusive Dewback & Super Vulture Droid today.  Getting a couple of WM exclusives out of the way in one shot is always a good way to ease my collecting concerns.

Anything new or cool specific to this dewback? Besides the pricepoint?  ;)

The Vulture Droid sorta interests me as it is a straight repaint of the TCW version and could almost fit with that line.

Is the price on that same as the midsize assortment or higher? (Can guess, but there's always hope...)

Yes, you pay the same price at the last one but without the sandtrooper.  ;) There is some slight deco changes too.

$29.96 For both the dewback & super vulture droid. A little bit of a bitter pill to swallow, but these are Walmart exclusives.

Oh snap, TRU rolled out the new front end display this morning! Always nice to see a commanding SW presence at the toy store.

This time they did not fail abysmally at stocking up with new product, thankfully. I saw a full case of TPM figures, multiple cases of new MH and TCW, the 4 new Class 1 sets, the 4 new Class 2 sets, the 4 new BP's, and even the Podracer exclusive set, hot off the truck.

I also saw the 2 new Walmart exclusive Dewback/Vulture Droid this mornign for the first time.

It's great to see all this new product, I just wish I cared about any of it. I already got my measly 5 TCW figures and the 1 battlepack this past week, so not much else out there for me right now. (#%*$ Mando Assault Transport!!!)

TRU by me was setting up the feature store this morning.  I maintained some level of self control and only bought half of the new TPM TVC wave.  My picks:  Sidious, Darth Maul, Naboo Royal Guard, Battle Droid, Amidala & Quinlan Vos.  I can wait for the rest.

Ok - so here's what I've gotten this week....

2x Deluxe Maul w/Sith Speeder
2x Obi-Wan w/Naboo Skiff
2x Clone w/BARC Speeder
2x Batteldroid w/STAP
1x Anakin Pod Racer
1x Sebulba Pod Racer
1x Trade Fed Tank
1x Sith Infiltrator
2x WalMart Exclusive Dewback
2x WalMart Exclusive Vulture Droid
2x Clonetrooper Battlepack
1x Rebel Heroes Battlepack
1x Geonosis Battlepack

3x 2012 VC75 Qui-Gon Jinn
3x 2012 VC76 Obi-Wan Kenobi
3x 2012 VC77 Ratts Tyerell & Pit Droid
5x 2012 VC78 Battle Droid
3x 2012 VC79 Darth Sidious
3x 2012 VC80 Anakin Skywalker (Jedi Padawan)
3x 2012 VC81 Ben Quadrinaros & Pit Droid
3x 2012 VC82 Daultay Dofine
5x 2012 VC83 Naboo Royal Guard
3x 2012 VC84 Queen Amidala
3x 2012 VC85 Quinlan Vos
3x 2012 VC86 Darth Maul

And 1 each of Movie Heroes Wave 1 to keep MOC.

Oh yeah - I also grabbed two of the Pod Racer Pilots box set from TRU.

So I *think* I'm down to just the Walmart "Discover the Force" wave, the WalMart "Discover the Force" multi-packs and the Target 2-packs for the launch stuff.

Eventually I'll grab an opener of the Trade Federation Tank since they updated the vehicle.
