Isn't that Star Wars figure laundering?

I was just at TRU and saw a sign that said all Star Wars single figures are Buy 1 Get 1 free.  I grabbed 6 figures from the Lost Line wave and it is legit.

I did the same.  I thought that at $5 a figure this would be one of the few opportunities to do some army building.  Gotta love a BOGO sale.

Depending on what they are charging for individual figures, that could be a pretty good deal. We have a brand new TRU opening next week and I am really hoping they have a good selection of recent vintage waves. I've still never seen Nom, Aayla, Starkiller, etc on the pegs anyplace.

Sounds like a nice deal...  too bad TRU's a bitch to get to here, and rarely worth it.  :-\

I think I saw it on Twitter but I can't recall, but somewhere I know I saw it posted that K-Mart had figures for like $6.49...  This isn't a nationwide sale yet.  K-Mart's kind of like Wal-Mart in that they don't always run sales the same...  Sometimes they do though.  But yeah this sale's not part of it yet.

See now TRU I have nearby in both directions.  Let me know if you ever want to swap Kmart goodies for TRU's.

I wonder how much grief they would give me if I tried to get them to honor the BOGOF deal for Kul Teska. The TRU across the river still has a couple of these and I would really like an extra to open up. I mean, it's technically an action figure, right?

TRU's are everywhere here, I just have to go 45 minutes to get to one pretty much...  Not fun really if you're hunting, and coming up empty.  TRU's also not cheap so I tend to put them on the lower end of my toy runs unless there's a sale I feel sure will make it worth my while.

The nice thing on TRU is you can usually call with a UPC # and get an item held for a day.  That was how I got my Ewoks and Speederbike.

TRU is crap here except for exclusives, there's been no evidence of any new figures of any assortment in 5 months or even carry forwards from later cases. I can't even find anything worthwhile to buy one get one free. And the pegs are mostly empty, and have been for 2 or more months.  Why do they refuse to restock or reorder? What the hell?

Mine have gotten stuff in probably a little more steady than WM or Target...  I've seen evidence of Wave 4, 5, and 6 there this year...  That's more than I can say for almost any other store than K-Mart.

Actually I've seen a good bit of Wave 6 there but once this week's sale hit those basically dwindled down to Vader's, Leia's, and Jar Jar's.  All the army builders just vanished like a fart in the wind...  Not a shock there since basically army building's still popular, it's just priced out of reality for most.

Meijers has vintage starfighter vehicles at $20 and Movie Heroes ones at $25 (I think). Deluxe/class 1 at $14. Until the end of the month, IIRC. Battle packs at $18....not that they have anything new here.
