From a marketing perspective it also makes sense to release new prodcut all year long, without 3 month dry spells.

Even if we just see loose and Carded Sith and Jedi waves it will probably be worth it.

One things for sure it'll be some time before we see any ANH offerings -like Cantina Patrons -but if they do preview '11 Bespin Han and Skiffmaster would be nice.

Not long to wait now.

I also agree that we might see more stuff in SDCC than Celebration, because Celebration is mostly for a limited audience (Star Wars fans).

I really am looking forward to the newer basic figure waves. Despite already knowing which figures we're getting, it's still just as exciting (if not even more exciting) to see what these figures look like.

Has there been any word on whether or not we should be expecting the AOTC TVC wave by the holidays or after them?

I'm actually hoping we'll see carded samples of the ROTS and ROTJ waves and that we'll see figures all the way through the AOTC wave - I'm extremely excited at the prospect of finally having a Zam Wesell that can fly her own speeder.

Hasbro said at Toy Fair that the first 2 TVC waves should be available right around the line launch date.  But so far people have only been finding the TESB wave.  The ROTS wave should be close behind that.

Hasbro also said that they're looking to get on the following schedule:  a new wave of figures every 6 weeks.  So with that in mind we could see the ROTJ wave by mid September or early October.  And that would put the AOTC wave out some time around November.  Whether or not the TPM wave would get out before Christmas is not so clear.

Thanks cool to know - thanks for the clarification Nick...

So based on that schedule, I really do hope that we'll see at least through to the AOTC wave since it most likely will be released in 2010.

I'm sure there was a Qand A where a rep said they were Holding back the majority of new stuff for Celebration?

Presumably the Mixed Vintage Collection?

Could be a load of CW to debut though.

What's going to be available at CC this year? Just the Maul/Owen pack, or the Zuckuss/4-LOM pack as well?

Anyone blogging/posting photos from here?

I am hoping to follow the live G4 feed, but they probably won't have much on SW.

The JTA spies are already there, and they have a nice packaged shot of the upcoming ROTS wave clone trooper.
