2010 Target Clone Wars Hostage Crisis 2-Packs
« on: July 20, 2010, 02:47 AM »
While it's not positive how we'll be getting him, a new image of Senate Commando Captain Jayfon surfaced tonight!

Clicky to check him out!

It's not really established whether he'll be part of a battlepack, or a basic figure.  I'm placing bets he'll be in the Yakface rumored "Nikto Robino Bounty Hunter" pack, personally though. ;)

We need a generic Senate guard to army build.

I think you are right on the money, brother. This one looks like a winner!

Ah, thanks Jayson.  Yeah I'd say he's part of that then, not a battlepack.

Continuing the JTA bumps - Pics of the two new 2-Packs at this link.

Looks like Jayfon and a basic Senate Commando and then comfirmation of the rumored IG-86 & Cad Bane pack.

Senate Commandos - awesome.  Bounty hunters - meh.  This seems like a better vehicle to get us some of the endless Clone variations out there (a little surprised there isn't at least one set of this kind).

Hmmm, both are listed as exclusives - wonder with whom?

I like both and will certainly buy them, but I wish we could have gotten something better than 2 commando droids to go with Robonino.

Why does it say they both come with the "Bounty Hunter DVD"? Is that a generic thing or something episode specific?

We have some packaged shots of the Senate Captain/Commando set.  These are really cool...  If the price chimes in around $12.99 or less, I think they're a neat deal.  Part of me's really tempted to pick this set up, and try making a realistic couple of guys using the upcoming open-faced Senate Guard we're getting as a base.

Clicky to check them out!

Really cool though.  I liked these guys and wished we saw them do something cool and not get offed really easily in an episode.  :-\

Either way, these are pretty neat since I think many people would like to have a little squad of these guys for Aurra to aim at.

Wait, so neither guy actually has a face? Well, that's one way to keep the sculpting costs down.

Does look cool...looking forward to seeing some pics of that other set too, since IG-88 is all new.

Great pics, mods!

IG-86 is a repaint I believe, nothing "new" there.
