Well, I have never seen him act, but he's a great match for Thor's face from the pic that was posted.

I liked him as Kirk's dad, and I think he will do well as Thor.

The picture in the story does give him a good Loki look.

Marvel’s Thor is Chris Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth Is 'Thor'

He's a dam soap actor, and not a great one at that, maybe i'm being picky cause i've been forced to watch that crappy show he is on by my wife. Surely there had to have been better canditates??
The problem with America is stupidity I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself

That's dissapointing.  Natalie is nice eye candy and I think a pretty decent actress, but I'm not sure that she takes big action flicks (alla Star Wars) very seriously and the results are pretty obvious on screen.  Maybe it was just Lucas and a lack of direction - here's hoping we get the "Where the Heart is" version instead of a Star Wars clone.

Given every other actor in the prequels was awful, I think the blame there falls on Lucas.   ;)

I don't know, I thought Ewan was pretty good.  Liam was okay too as far as I'm concerned.

I thought Ewan's acting in AOTC fell pretty flat.  I've said it before and I'll say it again, the prequels could've been 100 times better with a decent director and a script writing team.
This is the way.

I have spoken.
