What's the CC?  I'm drawing a blank on the acronym.
Peacekeeper, when it absolutely, positively has to be nuked in 30 minutes or less.  Or the next nuke's free!

Thanks Scott! I did a little research on the Marvel Wiki page and the Cosmic Cube has some connection to the Beyonder?  Pretty cool, since I really liked the Secret Wars series.

Apropos of nothing, if the Kiss classic "God of Thunder" is not on the soundtrack to this film, there should be an official investigation by the Justice Department.

How can you have a movie about Thor and not roll that out during the closing credits? I don't see a way.

Even "Adventures in Baby Sitting" had that song.  ;)

I think a few of us in the MN group are holding out until our next meeting.  I did notice it got an A in the EW review, which has got to be a first for a comic book movie.  Gives me high hopes for it!

I just got back.

Thought it was pretty good.  Fun overall and big on action and all that stuff.

I was terribly disappointed in the lack of beefcake.  Criminal.  And really?  Destroy everythingREALLY?  Otherwise, the movie was enjoyable and just fine.

Caught it this afternoon, and I actually thought it was really good.  Better than I expected actually.  I've heard some putting it almost on par with the first Iron Man, and I could see that.  It is a different type of movie (from Iron Man), sure, but I thought it was really well done.

That was sort of what I was thinking when I left the theater... these comic book movies can be really good like Iron man or inexplicably bad like Fantastic Four or the first Hulk.  It's all about the tone and direction I think.  Thor was on the better side of that scale.

Saw it last night.  It was good. I have no idea what the thing after the credits is (even after reading the above posts) but I love that Marvel does that.  I also really enjoy the Stan Lee cameos.
