I didn't think that this figure needed to be re-done, but I have to admit as well, the new version is worth it.

I want one with a spring action right hand that launches out of his arm. That Saga one didn't cut it.
That was the last version I got.
Kenner 1980 version was decent toy...though the head sculpt was uninspired even for the era. At least his lightsaber wasn't stuck up his arm. Instead it was a yellow stick that you lost in 15 seconds.

Has there ever been any official reasoning behind why Kenner made the saber yellow? Was it just because of the first version's coloring? I've never understood that.
