I guess that means that the Prototype Fett is the third gap (VC61?).

He might be in there, but I'm inclined to think that those spaces in the numbering are Nom Anor, the 501st Trooper, Aayla Secura, Dr. Evazan, Kithaba and a yet unknown sixth wave mate.

Since waves 6 and 7 had six figures each, it is a safe assumption that originally, they planned on the original Wave 8 having the same number.

And sure enough - the other five figures shown on the back of the card are Nom Anor, Kithaba, Dr. Evazan, Aayla Secura and the 501st Trooper.

Looks like the six figures in the "gap" have been identified!

OK, so to recap -
  2011 VC56 - VC60 = pushed to 2012 (Aayla, Evazan, 501st, Nom, Kithaba)

  2011 VC61 Boba Fett (Prototype Armor) [Mail-Away]

2011 VC62 Han Solo (in Trench Coat)
  2011 VC63 B-Wing Pilot (Keyan Farlander)
2011 VC64 Princess Leia (Slave Outfit)
  2011 VC65 TIE Fighter Pilot
2011 VC66 Salacious Crumb [SDCC 'Revenge' Death Star Box Set only]
2011 VC67 Mouse Droid [SDCC 'Revenge' Death Star Box Set only]

2011 VC68 Rebel Soldier (Echo Base Battle Gear)
2011 VC69 Bastilla Shan (Knights of the Old Republic)
2011 VC70 Ponda Baba (Walrus Man)

I am so glad that I am no longer collecting carded or I'd be even more upset about the HTS SDCC DS set fiasco last week...  :-X

I think we will eventually see these two:

2011 VC66 Salacious Crumb [SDCC 'Revenge' Death Star Box Set only]
2011 VC67 Mouse Droid [SDCC 'Revenge' Death Star Box Set only]

In some other fashion - perhaps both the little guys will be released as a NYCC exclusives on "Return of the Jedi" cardbacks.

Since VC62 - VC65 are supposedly going to be released on BOTH "Revenge" and "Return" cardbacks in the Wave 8 and Wave 9 assortments, someone could focus on just getting the figures on "Return" cards since that IS what the movie was called. The "Revenge" stuff could just end up being extremely limited packaging variants.  :-\

New DPCI/pricing from the Target computer from Yakface/BanthaSkull:

087-06-0269 Vintage Vehicles – $24.99
087-06-1732 Vintage Vehicle - $24.99
087-06-1736 CW Figure Collection - $19.99
087-06-1749 Vehicle Figure Scene Pack - $24.99
087-06-0320 Darth Maul double Lightsaber - $20.00
087-06-0765 Battlefields of Naboo - $29.99
087-06-0780 Attack Vehicles - $24.99
087-06-0920 Villains and Sith- $14.99

Lots of "Vintage" in there - more kenner box repacks? (Cloud Car?  X-Wing? Vader's TIE?).  Or maybe nice "generic" ID's for what will turn out to the Search for Luke Taun-Taun BP or something...  I'm guessing we'll get a little more to all this at NYCC.

Also, that "Villians and Sith" has me wondering if that is supposed to be some "bad guy" version of the old Order 66 sets - instead of a Jedi and a Clone, you get a Sith and a separatist?  Or maybe this year's version of the exclusive carded CW 2-packs they've had in the past or something.

The Villains & Sith sets sound potentially interesting.  But will they deliver?  Just brainstorming through some of the possibilities...

Holo Darth Sidious & Nute Gunray
Darth Maul & Destroyer Droid
Count Dooku & Super Battle Droid
Asajj Ventress & Tactical Droid
Darth Sidious & Shock Trooper
Darth Vader & Stormtrooper
Emporer Palpatine & Royal Guard

Does this one correspond to anythjng shown at SDCC:

087-06-1736 CW Figure Collection - $19.99

I can't recall but am thinking not. Seems like maybe another exclusive BP?

I'm vaguely intrigued by that vague pricing list.

I knew Naboo battle would be $30. If it includes 4 battle droids, a gungan, Tarpals and the Kaadu...not bad. Only 2 droids...wait for clearance.

Ya that thing hasn't been out in over 10 years which I find odd so I fully expect to see it back on shelves soon.  LEGO just put one out.

I was talking about this with Derryl DePriest at SDCC a couple of years back, and he agreed that it had been a while since the N-1 starfighter had been available.  We talked about the possibility of one in blue deco since it appears that way in a video game, but that seemed like a non-starter.  And the notion of doing vac-metal was discussed too.  But that might be too costly of a process to do for a vehicle, especially since it's not the whole vehicle.  Doing vac metal parts can be tricky.  I don't remember if we talked about a functional droid socket, but the fuselage of the N-1 makes it kind of prohibitive.
