I like to see all the great lists of 3-packs that will never get made.  You know we're just going to get the crummies 2004 leftovers they can scrounge up.

Two more sets I'd gladly fork over $25 each for:

Jabba's HTF Goons:
- Ephant Mon (Saga repack)
- Hermi Odle (30AC repack)
- Gamorrean Guard (TVC repack)

KOTOR:
- Revan (30AC repack)
- Malak (30AC repack)
- Bastilla (TVC repack)

I don't see any way they could squeeze Ephant Mon/Hermie Odle into these packages, but I'd love to see those released again... even though I have those figures, for some reason I'd like to get a couple more.

The KOTOR set idea is outstanding.  They could even switch it up a bit and give us two sets:

Set One:
- Darth Revan (30AC repack)
- Bastilla (TVC repack)
- HK-50 (B.A.D. repack)

Set Two:
- Darth Malak (30AC repack)
- Darth Nihilus (Evolutions repack)
- HK-47 (B.A.D. repack)

^ If not in the "Special Action Figure" sets, at least in some format.

Saw the same 3-packs (one with Needa) back to full(er) price at Target last night...  sad that the worst set got the jacked up price too.  There were a lot of the other sets and 50% cleared them all out.

Swap the HK droids around and I think you get some cool sets.  If only...

I actually like that grouping because the only one I don't have is Bastilla, and would not mind another HK-50.

Another round of Vintage 3-Packs coming?

Clicky to check it out!

Droids...  DSD, Power Droid, R5-D4...  Kinda cool, but these did so poorly before.  Granted, if more come out, I have to think the profit margins on these are huge and basically Target can risk clearances and still make a buck.

Reissue city. Slight repaint on the power droid, different colored  front lights/buttons and less paint ops than the Battlefront 2 version. Could've been an actual vintage repaint.

Why not a bronze Death Star Droid?

Why not a bronze Death Star Droid?

That's the only one not done yet with the BAD parts, so that'd make sense.  Plus that would fit with a Tatooine theme... but it appears it could be a vintage theme (if only the deco on the Gonk was blue),

Looks like we are getting a new Power droid mold! It's all new for sure, no button, no part line down the middle and it looks "boxier". I am surprised they did not deco him in Vintage colors for the set but maybe he is coming on a VC card in original colors. I am in for this set, can't wait to see what other two sets they got coming.

I'm wondering if that is an unpainted proto?  It sort of looks like the vintage one (with the circle etc)

Look closley, it's new:
- No glaring center part line on the figure.
- The center band that encircles the droid is very square. The old one is rounder and fatter.
- No side button for the action feature.
- The center face is also more squared out.
- At the bottom portion of the old PD there was a sculpted scribe line, the new one does not have it.

Indeed, which gives me hope for a single-carded blue one. ;)  I don't think this is a prototype, based on some things I know about the pic.

Vintage blue sure would be swell.  :D

It is just soo blah...I hope it is a prototype as I might buy it then...although a new carded Lars Gonk would be more than welcome
