A new Antilles would be outstanding, and I think a new General Dodonna would be great as well... not sure how well that old man would do as a basic figure priced around $10.00, so "maybe" Hasbro could get creative and make a battle pack with the following:

- General Dodonna (new)
- Rebel Fleet Trooper (new, head variant)
- Princess Leia (retooled arms VOTC version)
- C-3PO (B.A.D. sculpt)
- war room table

Just an idea.

Chewie I would love that pack! You do not even need to retool Leia's arms just use the ones from the Medical Frigate Leia, they are ball jointed. I just swapped heads heads to update my ANH Leia. I would prefer the retool the ANH head, it looks nothing like Carrie Fisher and way too young. The Medical Leia head has the most spot on likeness in my opinion.

Maybe if they retool Dodonna they can make the "Safari Joe" looking General and the others with the body so they get more mileage out of it. If Q&A's ever come back maybe we can ask/seed the idea to them.

Yeah, I actually did the same thing with my Leias, I have two of the Medical Frigate ones with the VOTC head.  I'm guessing Hasbro's going to use those parts for a basic figure, but the Battle Pack would be fun I think.

Battlepack would be cool but I think I'd swap out 3PO for another Yavin Tech...

I've got a billion battlepack ideas i'd love to see though, probably could think up 10 for just Yavin, haha.  Doubt any of them would do too great unless they were mostly army builders.

Thanks to Jayson & 501st for sending me a link to the figure first...  I was out this evening and have been working since I got home, and this was a cool surprise to see once I got back. :)  I can't wait to army build the crap out of this figure.

Interesting to note...

They both have a gauntness to them, but the eyebrows, eyes, and mouth are so distinctly different...  I see detail in one that isn't there anymore in the final figure.  I'm wondering if Hasbro altered it to be more generic?  I'm really intrigued by the whole thing.  If I ever wished that they'd do head variants again, now is the time I wish they'd get to it.  It won't happen of course, but it'd be the ideal time to give us variants of a soldier.

Looking at all of them including the proto at Toy Fair though, the TF one is the obvious youngest, the original "Official" Hasbro image is next youngest, but his looking up screws up my perception some maybe, more Pello though.  Then the second Official Hasbro image is very accurate to Pello Scrambas...  the final figure looks like a little bit of a hybrid then, at least to me, but it doesn't look like the super accurate portrait of the old RFT Dude that Sideshow did for their 12" figure.  At least not to me.  It's generic enough I'm pretty happy about that.

Love it and love that we get the EU hat.  Too cool.

Great looking figure though, really.  I think this is maybe the only figure I'm truly geeked about that's coming soon, and I hope I can get as many as I can.  I've waited way too long for this figure to be rare, haha.

Another observation...

-Still no holster that I can tell.

-The underarm has a noticeable splotch of blue...  could the vest be removable afterall, or is the cut of the vest itself just with very large armholes and Hasbro painted the armpit region blue?  Tough to tell by the photo.  I'm still of the opinion it's not removable right now.

Painted antenna on the old style helmet too I noticed.

Same thing would happen if he had Gamorreans at that price... hopefully he gets more in. I'd like about a dozen myself.
